“If our systems are up to it, I’d like to launch a warp probe at the precise coordinates where we entered the system,” Wendell said.

CSO

“Do it” she said knowing it would take more than a few experiments to figure things out

Tralla

As soon as the probe had launched, multiple readings showed up at once. Certain particles that were usually undisturbed were showing signs of being affected by whatever had happened. As soon as the probe reached the entrance, readings showed that this aggravation only went out so far, and the ‘wall’ separating the two was slightly bent as if part of a larger spherical shape.

Your Bestest Friend (GM)

BJ looked at the data at the first officer’s console. He wasn’t quite sure what to make of it.

Janzen

“Well Mr Vaughn What do we have can we get out of here at a moments notice?” she asked curtly

Tralla

That was a good question. He couldn’t answer that himself. And he didn’t have an answer. At least not yet. Maybe someone else did.

Janzen

“It’s incredible, Captain!” Wendell said as he went over the data. “I don’t think that we should move the ship. We might be again, subject to the forces that damaged us, and the other ship. Maybe we can access their logs to see what information they managed to get on it?”

CSO

Scans of the other ship would reveal that although the main computer was heavily damaged, enough data could be transmitted to reveal that the particles were earlier in a stable position, before suddenly being forced out of the space that they had occupied, being thrown out to create the spherical shape that the probe had detected. Interestingly enough, more scans from the probe had come back revealing that another spherical shape close to the singularity was detected, but instead of made of particles, it was completely devoid of them.

Your Bestest Friend (GM)

“Okay, so this is what we got from the Titan,” Wendell said. “It appears as though they were actually here when this sphere was formed. Note the secondary sphere and its effects. Or lack thereof.”

CSO

Zubreana looked over to the scientist “what could have caused this?” She asked as she continued to scan the area.

Azon, COS

BJ smiled. “If we had the answer to that; the question would be irrelevant.” But, he didn’t know either. “But, that’s a good question.”

Janzen

“Keep working on it…maybe try remodulating the back-up subspace interference Regulator” she suggested drawing on her Engineering knowledge to try and get her crew out of this situation

Tralla

Suddenly, alerts from the probe flashed on the console. The ships AI spoke up, “Um… I’m detecting massive energy readings from the centre of the particle ‘empty’ zone. The probe is also reading that the particles are being pushed away from it.” True to her words, the shields were showing a minuscule drain as particles that helped make up the void around them bounded against them, being pushed by a unknown force.

Your Bestest Friend (GM)

“Helm Turn us to ride whatever is pushing us dont fight it!” she ordered keeping her level head

Tralla

The ship slowly turned towards the anomaly, the helmsman clearly fighting with the controls the entire way. On the science console, intense gravitational readings were being displayed at regular intervals, as if they were briefly within the gravitational field of a planet such as Earth.

Your Bestest Friend (GM)

OCC Wouldnt that be away from the Anomaly because she basically ordered the ship to ride out the waves like a surfer would LOL

KG

After checking the science console a number of times, Ens. Fil reported to the bridge crew, “I’m reading intense gravitational anomolies at regular intervals.”

Science
Penji couldn’t pinpoint where the anomolies were coming from.

BJ pondered what was just relayed. He glanced over. “Can we use that regular frequency?”

Janzen

“Helm Keep us riding the Gravity waves so that it pushes us away from whatever it is!” she ordered

Tralla

Wendell was annoyed as the ship shuddering was interrupting his concentration as he worked. He cried out, “Quick! Put all available power in the shield that’s facing the gravimetric wave! While we still can!”

CSO

Can Someone please give me some idea of what is going on!” Tralla ordered watching the main view screen trying to see something that might give her an idea of waht was happening

A round shape started fading into view on the view screen. Bright steel covered the surface, while large pointed objects stuck out like large spikes. Deep canyons ran around it, and lights glistened from many different points. The computer spoke up, her voice a panicked, “Large object is appearing at the centre of the singularity. I am getting massive energy reading from all over it. I can only assume that those large spires are cannons of some sort, and my optical sensors are picking up multiple moving objects in the atmosphere! Time estimated until it fully solidifies is less than 20 minutes, but the process could speed up or slow down at any time.”

Your Bestest Friend (G<)

“Scan it Tell me what I’m Looking at!” Tralla ordered her antenna were twisting showing her emotions were just a mix “try Hailing whatever that is!” she added standing up shakily

Tralla

Ne Mark hailed the object, and waited for a reply.

“Okay, help me as we run the scans,” Wendell asked the other science officer who was on the bridge.

“Captain, at least we can now guess that this gravity field in this sector isn’t a natural occurrence,” he added. “Why, the power that they need to produce the effect must be off the scale!”

CSO

Zubreana watched the view screen as her fingers flew over the controls. She was ready with weapons should they be needed.

Azon, COS

While the scans were being processed, a voice in an unknown language could be heard shouting over the comms. The message was being broadcast over all channels, but it seems that the newcomers refused to respond to the ships hails. Scans showed that the object was planet sized, and that there were multiple energy readings, some of the higher ones coming from within the planet and on the towers. Interestingly enough, the energy readings at the tower closest to them was building up, getting steadily higher and higher.

Your Bestest Friend (GM)

“Divert auxilery power to shields and stand by on weapons Mizie Can you confirm weapons of any sort on that thing! and are they Targeting us!” she asked

Tralla

Maizie spoke back in a panicked voice, “Captain that thing is bristling with weapons. I have no doubt that they are attempting to target us, but I cannot determine for sure if they have locked on.”

Your Bestest Friend (GM)

“Hail Them!” she ordered “Shields Up! get us moving a moving target is harder to hit!” the Andorian captain had just about had enough of whatever was going on and just wanted to get her ship and these survivors out of harms way

Tralla

“Actually I recommend a stationary position at this time, Captain,” Wendell warned. “Moving in this area of space just might set off more gravity waves.”

“Let me see what happens when I buzz the probe around a bit.”

CSO

The probe slightly moved, before a beam of energy lanced from the previously mentioned tower and struck it, obliterating it completely.

Your Bestest Friend (GM)

Zubreana tapped the controls and raised the shields “shields raised”

Tralla’s jaw practically hit the floor as she saw the probe destroyed “Ok well nevermind about the moving target idea…” the useually stern Andorian groaned burying her face in the palm of her hand “Hail them!” she ordered again

Tralla

Wendell tried to scan the big ship for any signs of damage or life. He doubted that the scans would get thru the thick armor skin of that ship. But it was standard operating procedure. “Could they simply be stuck here as we are?” he asked aloud.

CSO

Ne Davidson opened a channel to the alien vessel “channel open ma’am” he said as he looked over toward the screen.
