After he was done in Sickbay, JT had just one last thing to do before he could head back to his cabin and get settled i after his hasty transfer. He had saved it for last because it was his least favorite part of new assignments- his Psych eval

Standing outside the Counselor’s officer, he pressed the buzzer, secretly hoping the Counselor was not in today

LTJG Robinson

Sitting at his desk he heard the buzzer and replied, “Come in.”

CNS

JT entered the office and made eye contact with the counselor “Im Lt Robinson, I just came aboard and am here for my mandatory evaluation.”

JT

Ensign Banner stood up and smiled, “Welcome aboard and please have a seat. Do you have any questions before we start?”

Banner

JT took the offered seat and shook his head slightly “No, I don’t think so. To be honest though, I’m not a fan of these check ins… or counseling…” he trailed off “No offense.” he added.

JT

“Okay, tell me about your time in Starfleet so far…” asked Banner.

CNS

JT thought for a moment and then replied “Well, I did my 4 years at the academy. When I graduated I bounced around a few ships and bases flying shuttles and other small craft. Eventually made full LT and commanded a runabout for a year hauling cargo around. After that I filled in as a flight instructor at the Academy for a Semester. Then about a year and a half ago I got in a little trouble and found myself demoted to JG and stuck behind a desk at Star-base 243 with only the odd flying job from time to time to break up the monotony. When word came through that the Memorial needed a helmsman, my name was next on the list for transfer, so here I am. “

JT

As he talked Banner brought up his service records on his computer. “I see the little trouble you got into. Tell me, will anything like that happen again? I mean, do you feel like you have moved past that part of your life?”

Banner

“Oh, that was just a one time bout of stupidity.” JT replied “I wouldn’t be the first person to do something stupid and reckless to try to sleep with somebody.”

JT

“Good to hear” replied the Counselor.

Banner continued to look at his records and then continued,

“I don’t see anything else in your records that concern me. I do, however, like to keep in contact with those on their first space assignment. I would like to see you now and then, is that okay?”

Banner

“Sure thing” JT replied “Will there be anything else?” he asked hoping to get this evaluation over with.

JT

“No, I will certify you fit for duty for now. You are dismissed” responded Banner
