The turbolift brought Commander Jones and others to the aft section of Deck 18 where the entrance to the Shuttle Bay was. The huge, two-deck-tall room was bustling with activity centered around the Flying Angel, a racing yacht with considerable sub-light speed and maneuverability fit in a small hull. The runabout had been positioned for launch and the warp core had been powered up to prepare for launch, however the pre-flight safety check would take some more time with the crew in the cockpit, unless Jones skipped it for a quicker launch toward the Tyche System.GM Roadrunner
OOC- Jumping ahead of the XO to get things going.

JT Entered the shuttle bay behind the XO ans upon seeing the Flying Angel smirked Thing of beauty he thought to himself. Entering the ship he took his position at the ships helm. As he did he took out a small data chip and inserted it into a nearby socket and uploaded his personal preferences.
“Commander, Ready to begin pre-flight”

BJ followed the pilot into the shuttle. He was happy that he was not leading the away mission. He never liked being in the lead. He was happy to have Jade in the lead. They have been on a couple away missions on the Angel. He could now rib her for what she had done on their first mission together.
“Commander Jones, we going or are we just going to sit here?”

OOC After talking to Kirt, I am just going to get to it.
IC:
“Computer begin Preflight… system status report” JT gave the order to the computer to begin the preflight checks. “Commander Janzen, can you please check sensors and defensive systems while I check propulsion and offensive systems?”
JT
BJ started looking over the senors. “You do know the defensive systems are on the same console as the offensive systems?”

OOC Strictly speaking, All systems could be checked from the same seat since the thing could be crewed by one , just tying to spread things out but Ill run with it..
IC:
JT shook his head at his gaff “Deflector systems.. I meant deflector systems. Should be right there with the sensors”

Ensign Brekag entered the shuttle bay, ready for his first away mission. He had made sure he needed everything that he would need to protect the other crew in the shuttle.
