Kenzo quickly unpacked the essentials in his quarters before checking the time. He put out a few knick knacks he’d picked up from this place or that over the few years he’d been in Starfleet, before stepping out of his quarters and heading for the lift up to Deck B.After a short ride on the lift, he emerged onto the deck, and made his way to Sickbay. He stepped into the room, and looked for the Chief Medical Officer.

In the middle of the room, right next to the main scanner bed a crouched figure in a long white coat ending in a mess of red curly hair, occasional sounds of muttering followed by a clattering as something small hit the deck. When the door opened she turned her head to face the new arrival. Instead of turning it side-to-side she leaned back, somehow maintaining balance as she sat on her haunches and leaned back “Ah good afternoon Leftenant” The woman smiled at the new arrival then somehow coiled herself up and practically leaped to her feet then spun around to face the newcomer. The Sojourners Medical Officer was a tall woman, an extremely tall woman and well built. Her Chesire grin was bright and a little crooked which combined with her mostly untamed mess of red curls gave her a more than slightly unhinged look “Doctor Grey, how may I help you?” She asked, her accent a tempered Scottish Brougue.

Kenzo’s brown eyes betrayed his slight annoyance–at what or whom it was unknown–as he took in Dr Grey. He was shorter than her by a good 7 inches, a lot scrawnier, but something about his messy black hair–more genetics than lack of care–and the look in his eye, said he wasn’t one to trifle with. “I’m here for my physical, Doctor.”

Something about that sentence seemed to amuse the doctor. She clapped her hands together with a laugh “Well you’ve come to the right place, have a seat” She pointed to one of the standard examination beds “And despite your lack of introduction I gather you are the new Armory Chief” She said as she walked towards a cabinet, no longer facing Kurata.
