Is there danger to the people here if you go through the gate? She sent. She was not one to wish to stop people looking for freedom but she hoped it would not cause harm to those here.

T’Leia
OOC: Slipping my post back in so the GM can answer it:)

Rachel motioned her small group of injured to prepare to move once more. Desspite the group having a universal translator and a linguist she felt more comfortable using simple movements.

Dr. Grey - CMO

Alan looked back and saw Rachel motioning for the injured to move. God. Yul. Come on. We need a little help. He thought.

-Lt(j.g.) Alan Dysart, Linguist

Breaking off from the doctor, Dal went over to Yul. “Help them,” he simply said. “They help us. We live because of them and have escaped falling into the great Eye.” He turned to the others. “Accident when he was younger. He fears. He knows how to fix things better than us and the Zool clan but he fears.” Turning back to Yul, he said, “Come,” and took his arm to lift him to his feet. After looking into one anothers’ eyes he at last nodded.

“He will go with you,” Dal said. “He will help.”

Indeed, with some gazes of trepidation to the ‘aliens’ he did go with them to their shuttle pod.

Meanwhile, the Zool transport docked with the family sphere with a noticeable shudder through the complex. “The Zool come. “

So too was the larger transport approaching from the Sphere City and would be within range in minutes.

[O] Baumann… What’s going on out there? [O] Ari’s voice sounded pleasant, but the edge was there if he listened for it. [O] Incoming company… I need to know if I should deter them from approaching… [O] He would have heard her message to T’Leia about the approaching Arryha.

Baumann opened his communicator. [O] Captain, we are trying to get the Dal shuttle operational. Clan Zool has arrived, I believe to assist. At this point, the previously described ‘Raiders’ also have a ship approaching. As to the new vessel, I do not know. What I do know is that these habitats are extremely delicate, Captain. Any kind of conflict is going to cause potentially catastrophic damage. Again, I recommend we convene some kind of negotiation between parties. And due to the rather unstable environment here, I recommend we bring delegates to the Bonaventure. Sooner rather than later, Captain. [O] His voice was calm and even, his thick German accent making his words sharp. But the last sentence was certainly emphasized.

Baumann, XO

AFter having moved the injured Rachel took a position hwere she could easily monitor the small group and keep an eye on her crewmates. She made a mental check of the medical supplies she had utilized here and on whom she used them.

Dr. Grey - CMO

Ari nodded, despite the XO unable up see her. [O] Understood… See if we get all sides to come to the Bonnie. No more than two per side though, please. I don’t see a need for huge entourages. Three max if there is hell digging at only two. Without knowing how to contact this incoming ship, we’ll see if we can stop or deter it, but be prepared for anything. Let me know when you’re on your way. [O]

Things moved slowly but they moved. Clan Zool docked and, after a few minutes of this, two of the Zool clan appeared. They were dressed in some color, a deeper blue robe tucked at the waist with a belt. They were similar to Dal’s clan in appearance. The one who took the lead had a head ridge that was in similar color to his robe. He saw the ‘aliens’ and stopped short, his round eyes blinking slowly. “Zool,” he said simply.

To T’Leia’s inquiry came the reply, We travel through the Gate. The star should have been there to power the gate. Powered by the singularity there is a risk of a collapse of the space around. A chance.
- Wookiee

Baumann looked at T’Leia and said “We need to get representatives from each tribe together as quickly as possible. Two from Dal, two from Zool, and two from our newest interested parties. Could you assist with that, Commander? I will try and coordinate any medical en engineering needs.”

Baumann, XO

Dal being nearby again, Alan said “Ik s’ish-veh skan would nam-tor buhfik tor satau tor variben k’wuh vath skan? du puna-shau etek. Sos’eh du heh veh vath.” (Who from your clan would be best to send to talk with the other clans? You greeted us. Perhaps you and one other.)

-Lt(j.g.) Alan Dysart, Linguist

“Kir,” Dal said without much thought, pointing to one of his clan who appeared middle in age. “Kir is wise.” Kir was dressed much like the rest of Dal’s people. There wasn’t much color with their clothing, though the belt he wore around his tunic was striped in grey and black. At his name being spoken, Kir turned and approached them.
“You require me, Dal?” he asked.
“To speak with the Zool and City” Dal replied.
Kir blinked. “Speak what?”
Dal looked to Alan for help there.
- Wookiee

Baumann looked at Dysart, what he knew of the Vulcan language helping him in listening. “Lieutenant, please explain to the Dal and Zool that we are inviting two of their clans to our vessel in order to have a talk to see how we can help all parties within the sphere… Dal, Zool, and the City.”

Baumann, AC

Naomi returned her attention to the console after having done her duty. At this point, she continued to try to help the Engineer. It didn’t help her knowledge of the translation paled compared to the natives as she tried to find anything to assist her. Alan, she noted, was too busy being the translator between the senior officers and Dal. He didn’t need the additional distraction.

–ENS Naomi D. Locke, Sci.

Alan felt all the expectant looks like phase pistol beams. “Etek aitlun tor gol’nev ish-veh maat negotiate. Dahkuh sutra s’tik maat, Dal, Zool, wuh Kahl dungi sarlah tor etwel ha-kel. Nash yut etek mokuhlek stariben svi’ta’raf tsokal heh tor vel u’rom u’tor-yehat.” (We want to help your clans negotiate. Two people from each clan, Dal, Zool, and the City will come to our home. This way we can speak in neutral territory and make things as fair as possible.) He hoped that what he said was clear to everyone. At this point, as long as they agreed to go, he’d take it.

-Lt(j.g.) Alan Dysart, Linguist

“Talk?”Kir replied. “They have only taken, never talked.” He sounded skeptical.
Dal nodded with him. “What he says is true. But they left when they..” he gestured to the Bonnie crew “.. said to stop.” He left that hanging.
Kir studied the people in the away team and made a face that might be a frown or hope. “Perhaps. With their arrival things have changed. Is your home large?” he asked Alan.
- Wookiee

“Suk hiyet tor kasu du heh potau du safe. Nash nam-tor na’ ek’ t’ ish-veh ek’manek.” (Large enough to host you and keep you safe. This is for all of your safety.)

-Lt(j.g.) Alan Dysart, Linguist

Dal met the Zool and greeted them with what may have been a form of handshake. Only in this case the Zool had his hands flat and together in front of him while Dal briefly covered his with his own. He then turned to Alan. “This is Tosc of clan Zool. He will be one of the Zool speakers.” Turning to Tosc he said, “These people are from .. far away and wish to help. They,” he tipped his head to one side. “fix what is broken.”
Tosc turned his head to Alan and glanced at the others. “Much is broken,” he simply said. “Be welcome among the Zool. We live in a small city beyond the beams.”
- Wookiee

“Etek ha-tor svi’ wuh halovaun kahr. Du nam-tor welcome tra’. On Dal heh Zool.” (We live in a traveling city. You are welcome there. Both Dal and Zool.)

-Lt(j.g.) Alan Dysart, Linguist

T’Leia came out of her telepathic communication realizing that Baumann was looking at her expectantly and that she must have missed whatever she had said. She glanced over at Dysart and saw that he was arranging with the Dal and the others, those who would go to the Bonaventure with them. She looked back to Baumann and spoke quietly.”We may need to evacuate as many as we can regardless. The Aarya say that there is a danger of the singularity and space around collapsing when they try to go through but that they must go through.”

T’Leia

“Considering the fact that these people have been living under a singularity for such a long time I’m surprised that they’re in such good shape, with what seems like practically no medical knowledge or capabilities of their own. Frankly no one should be living like this.” Rachel added quietly in a more serious tone than was her norm.

Dr. Grey - CMO

Baumann looked at T’leia and Grey and nodded in a final fashion. “Understood. Let us get every available craft ready to transport evacuees to the Bonaventure. We will hold them in the cargo bay until the planned negotiations can be convened and completed. Priority is the safety of security of the refugees until such a time as a different course of action is determined. Commander. Please assist as you can with the dialogue between our team and the clans. Doctor, prepare for evacuation in the next thirty minutes.” and waited for any questions or suggestions before heading to the Dal craft to see if he could lend any assistance to the Engineers.

Baumann, XO

Naomi continued to work on the console. Her fingers brought up the information and followed the engineer’s instruction when he gave them. When they finished, she turned to the others for additional instruction.

–ENS Naomi D. Locke, Sci.

Baumann went to the Dal shuttle and began trying to figure out what could be done to make it space worthy.

Baumann, XO

Having finished with her patients Rachel moved around the room checking on the others she hadn’t treated to see if there were any others she’d need to check. Despite the circumstances this had been and extremely rewarding experience. The time spent both on Earth and Andoria hadn’t sufficiently prepared for this, at least in the terms of improvising the repairing of unknown alien biology. It felt like a really difficult yet satisfying puzzle.
