With no response, she tapped her chair comm… [O] X… I mean, T’Leia… We have visual on the Aarya ship we encountered before this. Have you had any contact? They’re heading the door and I don’t like it. Round everyone up in case we need emergency evac of you all. [O]

=^=It would seem, Captain that they wish to go through the singularity. They do not seem to have any designs of the people here though what their going through the singularity will cause, I do not know. I will attempt to speak with them more.=^= Came back T’Leia’s immediate response.

If she had to, she’d fire to protect her people. She just sincerely hoped it didn’t come to that. A small voice in her brain actually wondered something else. “Barr… Check for Bane’s ship.. wide and broad a range on every possible frequency, channel and reading. Don’t want him sneaking up either… “

She had wanted exploration and excitement. Careful what you wish for.

“I’m on it Captain. But if Bane’s ship is anything like this one, we might not see it coming. I was checking the sensors and there isn’t any trace of it following us here. It only recently appeared back on our sensors.”

Turning back to her sensors, Alison started looking at the different sensor readings, trying to see if there was any sign of Bane’s ship coming. Or anything else coming up on them.

Ltjg Barr - CSO

To project on computer analysis, the Arryha would have had to approach at an amazing speed to suddenly appear on the sensors, this time at a more sedate approach that was not really detected as anything more than an asteroid until the last moment. Whether that was a matter of cloaking tech, the sensors focused inward or what, tht was not certain.

Regarding the Bane, however, sensor scans were inconclusive. By inconclusive they ‘did’ detect what might be ‘sniffs’ of the Bane’s signature, though there was nothing conclusive. It too was uncertain, given the Watchman’s keen nose for Bane presence.

((Ooc… Can someone snip please.. Trouble on cell… Thanks…M))

Ari stood up and started to pace. She thought better when moving. The fact she hadn’t heard back from T’Leia want helping, either. Unable to wait as she watched the shop move closer to the sphere, she tapped the comm on the helm’s console as she moved by it.

[O] Baumann… What’s going on out there? [O] Ari’s voice sounded pleasant, but the edge was there if he listened for it. [O] Incoming company… I need to know if I should deter them from approaching… [O] He would have heard her message to T’Leia about the approaching Arryha.

The XO’s voice came through almost immediately. [O] Captain, we are trying to get the Dal shuttle operational. Clan Zool has arrived, I believe to assist. At this point, the previously described ‘Raiders’ also have a ship approaching. As to the new vessel, I do not know. What I do know is that these habitats are extremely delicate, Captain. Any kind of conflict is going to cause potentially catastrophic damage. Again, I recommend we convene some kind of negotiation between parties. And due to the rather unstable environment here, I recommend we bring delegates to the Bonaventure. Sooner rather than later, Captain. [O] His voice was calm and even, his thick German accent making his words sharp. But the last sentence was certainly emphasized.

Baumann, XO

Precariously balanced ecosystem… Of course…
Ari nodded, despite the XO unable up see her. [O] Understood… See if we get all sides to come to the Bonnie. No more than two per side though, please. I don’t see a need for huge entourages. Three max if there is hell digging at only two. Without knowing how to contact this incoming ship, we’ll see if we can stop or deter it, but be prepared for anything. Let me know when you’re on your way. [O]

The CO looked up. “Can we get between the Arryha and the sphere? Maybe we can stop it long enough to figure out what happening. And Barr, is there any correlation between the prison shop and the sphere you can find? Markings, makeup, alloys… Anything? I don’t want to let an intruder in there, but I also don’t want to keep someone from going home as it were.”

Damn you and your science inquisitive mind, Ri, she chided herself for the umpteenth time in as many hours.

Ari
CO

“I think we have enough time to get between the Arryha and the sphere. But I couldn’t predict what they will do when they see us getting in their way. But in the meantime, I’ll start a comparative analysis.”

As she turned back to her console she started running an analysis between the sphere, the Arryha ship, as well as Bane. Hopefully there was some sort of correlation. Something to tell who was on what side.

The Arryha ship was one that had been much more scanned in the previous encounter. There was no direct correlation between it and the Sphere, however a scan at the singularity, or nearby it - it was difficult to tell with the gravitational interference and whether it is ‘in’ the singularity component or something near it. The Bane, however, drew a stronger correlation - not on the exterior of the Sphere but the interior. Components of it ring a 74% correlation. They too are around the singularity, however, and not with the Sphere.

“Captain, in the meantime. Scans are inconclusive on where Bane is. It looks like he is somewhere, but I can’t get a firm lock on where he might be.”

Ltjg Barr - CSO

“That’s no surprise. Thank you.” Ari soon her head and mumbled, ” Why can’t it be an understanding that in space when you are close enough to scan someone you send a message, ‘Hey, thought we’d stop by’ or ‘coming up on your starboard’? But no, I’m such playing hide-n-seek.”

A soft giggle finished her statement as she imagined an overly polite space quadrant with everyone being ridiculously accommodating. Please… You traverse this area as you desire… No, no.. please, I insist you go first.. my how accommodating, shall we do it together?

“Captain, I’m not getting a correlation between the Arryha ship and the sphere, but it is showing similarities between it and items around the singularity. But scans of the Bane are showing 74% correlation with items around the singularity. It’s almost as if they were in there at one point.”

Ltjg Barr - CSO

As if they were in there…

The words sat oddly with Ari. Her muttering was mostly to herself, but those nearby would hear. “So if Bane possibly comes from inside, what’s the deal with the Arrhya?” Hey mind wondered briefly if this was the missing link between internal and external communication the sphere had talked about.

“Well… Let’s see…” she murmured then spoke up. “Open channel… I want to see if the all mighty Bane is listening.” She waited for the nod that it was open and she spoke out loud wondering if her gut was right…

It took her a moment to sun her thoughts, then she canted her head as if listening really hard for something far away, and spoke out. [O] This is Arianna Bovar, Captain of the Bonaventure. Bane, if you can hear me, I’d like to speak to you about the sphere and it’s occupants. [O] She was going to leave it at that but suddenly added, [O] We are rendering aide inside and wonder how else we can help to re-stablize the society in there.[O]

She motioned her hand for comm to turn off the outgoing and didn’t breathe till she received the nod back that it was done. Sitting back down in her chair, her heart racing somewhere near Warp 9.5, she tried not to hold her breath for an answer.

Alison sat nervously waiting to see if Bane would contact them. There were so many open questions, but no where near enough answers. She just hoped that they could figure out the answers without getting blown up.

Ltjg Barr - CSO

“The Sphere,” came a familiar voice from behind, for it was the voice of the Captain. Turning they would see a silhouette of the Captain, only in this case more transparent, almost like a holo. “Watch yourself Captain. You don’t want the Watchers to know you are talking with us and flirting with the Arryha.” There was a dramatic pause. “It was established to keep us out after all.”
- Bane-light

[O]Dysart to Bonaventure. Negotiation parties are agreed upon. Getting everyone there is going to be a bit difficult, but so far, so peaceful.[C]
