Meanwhile the larger ship from the Sphere City loomed larger as it approached, and, with a practiced efficiency lowered a docking tube that latched onto the Dal port. Three came through the open port. One was evidently a bodyguard - a being not seen before. Much more lizard like in appearance, it was thick and muscled by comparison to those of the Dal and related clans. It would be equal in mass as a Crewman of the Bonnie though. The two others were similar to Dal only looking better fed and dressed. The one in the lead looked officious with a thick glittering metal necklace that ran down past its chest and also carried a dark wooden carved staff. The second was similar less the decorations.

Seeing the crew he looked taken aback, but recovered. “I am Naro Kis. Who is Bona Ven Tur? Where is you kingdom?”

No longer filling needed, Naomi took a step back from the console. Her eyes drifted to the crew working with the aliens and finding a sense of relief filled her. Things were looking up rather down, showing her the difference they all made. At least from her point of view. Naomi exhaled while she casually monitored the engine’s status. She hoped things would hold for now.

Baumann motioned for T’Leia and stepped forward. “Naro Kis. I am Commander Wulf Baumann. This is Commander T’Leia. We are from the SS Bonaventure, a ship just outside of your home.” Baumann spoke somewhat slowly and evenly to allow for accurate translation as needed. “We responded to a distress call that seems to have come from Clan Dal. We wish to assist them, and indeed all who live here, as we can. We would like to invite you and one other from your delegation to come aboard our vessel to discuss how best we can lend aid.”

Baumann, XO

Naro Kis took this in, round eyes not so much narrowing as simply growing smaller as he thought or took it in. Turning to the other with him he said, “My subordinate, Gor Jen.” He did not introduce the bodyguard. “I know little about any of this but that your vessel is not from here, or if it is, is superior. We do raid to live and in turn are raided by others. We have known for generations that we are doomed. We are all enemies here, us and any others. And fellow prisoners. We will talk.”
- Naro Kis

Baumann cocked his head to the side slightly and said “Prisoners? Of whom? And why?”

Baumann, XO

Naro Kis seemed to show some frustration; likely at the understanding. “Here. This place. All under the Great Eye. All doomed to be one with the Eye. Now as death comes. Soon as we live. The machines fail. When they fail we die. They will fail soon. We are prisoners in our own home.”
- Naro Kis

OOC: Thought this got lost somewhere …
In recap we have 6 representatives that would be going to the Bonnie …
Representing the ‘Free Spheres’ is Dal and Kir
Representing the ‘Second City’ is Tosc and Cip
Representing the ‘Sphere City’ is Naro Kis and Gor Jen .. and, likely their unnamed bodyguard.

Baumann looked at the ‘delegations’ and did some quick calculations. Looking at Naro and Gor, Baumann said “Sirs. Our craft will be too small to accommodate everyone coming to our vessel. Would you be averse to allowing some of my crew to transfer to Bonaventure aboard your shuttle? I will fly the rest of the delegates over in our shuttle. If that is not acceptable, please note that we can take all the delegates, yourselves included, but it would not be… comfortable. Very close confines, if I may say so.”

Baumann, XO

Rachel joined the Commander and the rest of the groups after having spent some time with the elderly alien on the other side of the room. Although this mission had been entertaining enough she was starting to miss her Sickbay, perhaps with these aliens onboard she could get some unique new samples to play with and entertain her when she wasn’t healing minor wounds or punching bags.

Naro Kis looked for all the world like he had scored some kind of victory over the Bonnie people and the others by virtue of simply having the largest ship that could take on the people. He looked to consider that, perhaps thinking that he should take the delegates of all areas, including himself, but then seemed to capitulate to the concept of fair play. And in not having to be that close to everyone else. “It will be done,” he agreed.
Wookiee for Naro Kis

Baumann simply inclined his head and said “Thank you.” and then turned to the team. “All personnel, report to the shuttles for transport back to the Bonaventure.” and then he opened his communicator. [O] Baumann to Bonaventure. Prepare for incoming shuttle craft. We will be… escorting… the delegates. [O]

OOC: Fixing typo

Alan returned to the shuttlepod, wondering how necessary he would be in the negotiations. Their language, put through a universal translator made sense on a literal level. But it was some dialect of Vulcan, the nuances were in the original tongue. And something seemed incredibly delicate about the negotiations the Bonaventure was about to play host to.
