Karina the next several minutes helping others with their wound, spraying the alcohol till it was gone and gathering folks to help move the more mobile people towards the epicenter of growing activity.

When she had deleted both the spray and her small medkit, she looked for Grey. Watching him finish up helping his patient, she finally approached him. “I’m out of supplies,” she announced with a sigh, “and I’ve got most of the mobile folks moving towards the center. I just don’t know how we’ll move all these cases.” She motioned to the nearly two dozen folks, that she could see, that weren’t capable of moving on their own legs, even with support.

Meredith and her sister were busy creating stretchers with any flotsam and jetsam they could find. Over the ridge the security contingent began to arrive carrying their wounded, eyes intent on the silent Guardian. With the Time Nexus closing in the focus was inexorably driven to the Guardian as the focal point of all.

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist (GMT)

Ben looked around the area “We improvise, get some of the engineering crew to strip down our escape pod doors, we can create a makeshift stretcher, move out the most serious cases carefully more inward if necessary. What we need more is a line from the Command Staff about our orders, we’ve been working on instinct for too long, I don’t know if we’re supposed to be moving anyone yet. Find someone that can help you with this see if it’s possible, I’ll get orders”

Dr. Grey - CMO

Karina nodded, “Yes, Sir.” She then grabbed the next Ensign that went by. She gave the orders Grey had given her and added that every able body with anything strong enough to carry a person should be brought here immediately.

The young woman then began to gather folks from the fringes and bring them inward.

=/\=Koraia to Madison, Grey, R’han and Vander. Commander Baxter is going to be beaming down to the Guardian site to meet with an Aegis operative to facilitate the removal of our people from the planet without causing a diplomatic incident. Get the crew ready to return to the ship and offer her any assistance needed. Once everyone is back, each person will need to re-integrate themselves. Lieutenant Grey, make sure to identify anyone who is not mobile so that you can have help from the rest of the teams down there. Stick together people and good luck. We’ll see you all soon. Koraia out.=/\=

There was a point where things just simply to go beyond the ridiculousness, but as a Starfleet officer she was at least trained to understand that that was often the lesser of their worries. “Ensign Lucas has a broken leg a fractured rib, he’s not mobile,” she informed the CMO, trying to not look at weary as she knew all of them felt.

Benjamin finally holstered his hypospray and scanner, grabbed his medical kit and opened it. He drew out a small PaDD and typed down Lucas’ name “Alright, let’s get everyone marked” He called out to his staff “Note everyone’s injuries then inform me, I need to know the full extent of their injuries and then know about their level of mobility” He looked around and he could feel the exhaustion as if it were something physical “We get these people up and you can rest, this is the final stretch, lets go” He clapped his hands and immediately moved to work.

Dr. Grey CMO

The impromptu rally cry from Dr Grey helped bolster Karina. She began to move those capable of moving and began making notes of who couldn’t move. Once she had three or four memorized, she placed a partner with them and moved off to find Grey. “Sir… I have four names for your list.” She moved back and forth between small groups, gathering immobile details and placing at least one mobile person with each group before going back to Grey to make her next report till they were all accounted for.

“That’s the last of them, Sir,” she said as the last of her info was given to him.

Ben nodded slightly as he wrote down the names. They were approached by people with several makeshift stretchers, made from parts of the escape pods, cloth, and various other knickknacks. Ben quickly directed them to each patient in need before gathering his things “Alright let’s get moving towards the Guardian, I want everyone to assist any that need assistance. We’re going to get home soon, this is the finishing line.” He was finally calming down, the adrenalin was wearing off and he was finally getting a general feeling in his everything and he was just now realizing that his everything hurt. His muscles were sore and his hands were weak. He took a sigh of relief before noticing a shooting pain in his left side. He looked down and saw no foreign object embedded in so he gently placed his right hand there and yelped slightly in pain and cursed himself his own idiocy. Probably a bruised rib, feels worse. Probably happened during your childish act of ‘heroism’ attacking that beastie He thought to himself as he looked back the now decaying corpse “Ye bambpot” He cursed himself as he took a painful step forward.

Dr. Grey - CMO

Karina had just finished giving him the final names and had turned to help direct others when someone, one of the younger officers, brought her a canteen with water. She thankfully took and sent them away with a promise to share with others.

She took a drink, herself, then turned to look for Grey. He’s need it if anyone did. She doubted he’d stopped to eat or drink since this whole mess started. What she saw made her frown. The wince of pain and the less than stable step he took made her frown. Coming up behind him, to make sure she’s truly seen pain, she finally spoke. “Dr Grey…?”

The tone was filled with concern as she nodded to the place his hand had gone to. “Here… Drink…” She handed him the canteen. “What is it, and how bad?” Her voice was low to keep it from those around them. Morality did not need a blow of negativity if the CMO was truly hurt. She would keep his secret, but she’d also make sure he didn’t become one of those needing assistance. Not if she could help it.
