Stretched throughout the time continuum the Axis of Time had just received some new guests. Vaacith sh’Lesinas was sitting trying desperately to come up with an end to the work “On the Edge of Yesteryear”. Leaning over to Adam, Vaacith sighed and said sadly. “Writer’s block”

Nico jumped up onto Adam’s lap, his travels through the Guardian to the Axis had displaced him time, effectively minimising his bond with Ghubari by sharing it minisculy with her throughout her life lessening the impact to both of them at separation. Still connected but not as intimately as before. Nico signed at Vaacith but Vaacith had no idea what the little fellow was saying.

Gho’lem Epoch nodded sagely in agreement with the little creature.

Vaacith looked at Gho’lem waiting expectantly for the translation.

Gho’lem looked at Vaacith and intoned the fateful words that would one day start the Athena on its journey throughout time.

“Those who would protect the past may be obliged to reinvent it”

THE END…

OOC It seemed fitting that Nico be the one to end our SIM with the words that started it some 80,000 plus words ago.

OOC: Brilliant! Thank you Ian for a truly wonderful sim. You gave a fitting send off to treasured characters. Stay tuned everyone for announcements etc. ~Linds

OOC: Brilliant is the best word I can use, yet it seems lacking. I am so glad I was part of something so magnificent. Thank you… Meli

OOC: I’m going to really miss my interactions with Nico and the potential that was going on between Adam and Orvos. Thank you for your work in tying everything together Ian!

-Tony
