The Holodeck - Finding a Human

Posted Dec. 24, 2018, 1:53 p.m. by Lieutenant Orvos Legen (Chief Engineer) (Tony Findora)

OOC: I’ll be replying to other threads over the next day or so, but just wanted to start this very brief thread for Christmas. :)

IC: Orvos was at it again, tinkering with the holodeck. This time, however, it was a program he had recovered from his grandfather’s old holo-collection. It was a very specific story, one he had briefly remembered seeing as a young tot. But there was a different feel on the Athena. A time of merriment, despite the last mission. There was perhaps a feeling of thankfulness that had resonated within the crew. And it manifested in the giving of various things. Gifts, service, hugs, encouragement, and even time. To say the crew felt like family was an understatement, Orvos observed. He tried his best to not make attachments too close. He knew he had a designated time. And ends never did too well with those who were close. That much, he knew. Losing his wife and children to the borg had been too much for him.

He brushed the thoughts of them aside, and focused on his current goal: Looking over this story one more time.

Orvos entered the holodeck in what seemed like a long dress with a colorful vest on his chest. He was greeted with a dark starry night in the middle of a pasture. Where he was, he was not absolutely certain, as the holodeck doors closed. But, that would be remedied as soon as he found a local.

OOC: Anyone is welcome to join, but bear in mind, you are subject to the whims of the story Orvos is observing. ;)
