Happy New Year folks!You’ll note that Jules has brought a character to the ship and it’s going to be part of a greater storyline, though the character is here to stay. With Julien will come another character played by Catt Bennett and she will be taking up the Lounge Host spot.
We also have David Shotton joining us with an Engineer/Pilot.
Welcome all! I look forward to all the plotting, drama and great character development.
Senior Staff- You’ll notice that Miriam has started threads for each of you as she gets Luka settled into the crew. If you don’t see it, check back in the board as she started them all at the same time and it might have fallen off the board.
I’ve started the post-sim gathering thread for promotions, awards etc. Everyone should join in, but your character doesn’t have to stay after the formal part: https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf3/athena/notes/22422/
Posting limits are back in effect as of Jan.2nd, but I won’t be enforcing them until next weekend. If you are not on a marked LOA after that point, expect an AWOL nudge.
Lastly, thank you all for the incredible integration thread (https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf3/athena/notes/18698/). It’s worth reading through in its exquisite totality. This is the kind of writing I always associate with the Athena and I want to thank you all for stepping up. I don’t know about you, but it’s been a difficult last few weeks. This thread made me smile and I greatly appreciate that.
And last-lastly (:P), I won’t announce it IC, but I will add it to the MOTD when I get it sorted out, but officially one of the ship’s Longevity-class runabouts will be renamed the USS Nicodarius as discussed.
Somewhere out there, Nico is hopping up and down and signing, “Really? For me!?” lol :D

Heya Peoples, I’m excited to be bringing back one of my favourite characters, and cant wait to get into him and meet people. Sounds like we are in for some fun!
