“Of course” Ben stood up, grabbing his duffel and tossing it over his shoulder. He took a sizable sniff and thought for a moment “There should be a nice clearing a few meters this way” He said knowingly as he started walking with the Captain. He didn’t say anything as they walked, much too busy looking around and using his sense of smell to guide him.

It was thankfully, and fairly expectedly quiet. Ghubari moved with an ease that had been familiar to her but felt no less amazing to her, the sounds of her leather sandals absorbed by the soft ground below them.

A moment later they arrived in a small clearing, covered by plants, allowing them a modicum of privacy. Ben dropped his Duffel on the ground “A place to set camp if there ever was one” He knelt to one knee and opened the bag, rummaging a bit before grabbing three cylindrical objects. Two of the Same size and one larger. He handed Koraia one of the smaller, placing the other under his arm. The larger one he put near the ground and pressed a button on the top. Three legs sprung from the bottom and he put it down. After securing it in its place the top rose to form a small round table. Ben looked back at the Captain with a smile “We used tah go campin’ or hikin’ on the regular back home. I had the replication file on hand in case I ever had the chance out here” He took the smaller cylinder and pressed the button. This time it split into four legs and with cloth in between. When it fully opened it was a camping chair with a back and armrests, the armrest on the right had an opening for a glass.

“Very convenient,” she said with a light grin. “I’m impressed.”

Next, he grabbed two bottles from the bag and four glasses, two whiskey, and two shot glasses and placed all of it on the table. One of the bottles was a simple shaped bottle marked ‘Grey Isle - 2389’ and filled with brown liquid. the second had a more intricate design, the neck spiraling down and ending in a beautifully blown out blue tinted glass. The liquid was unmistakenly blue but the flask unmarked “Did you have dinner, Captain?” The doctor asked curiously.

Dr Ben Grey

Koraia gave him a slightly amused look. “I managed to eat, yes. I take it I’m going to be grateful for the food earlier?” she said taking a seat in one of the chairs. There was something rather nice about not just the setting but doing something rather unexpected as a captain of a starship.
