He grinned shortly. “Well what doesn’t appeal on this ship. Three sickbays, two arboretae, a recreation area and gym with a pool table and so much space, it’s quite luxurious against the smaller ships in the Fleet.” he said.

“And when I don’t find you in one of the sickbays, where am I likely to find you with all these rather fun facilities at our disposal?” Janna asked simply. They were hovering on the surface and she well understood the method he was employing. How long they continued this way though depended a few variables and she wasn’tready to shift it just yet.

Julien thought of La’kia’s kija and the countryside around it, it’s dense foliage and the wonderful air full of life… “I’ll probably visit the arboretum regularly. I like the energy I get from walking through nature.” he said. Now that he said it, he felt just how true it was. He was actually missing Zahara. Could it be that the strange energy field that connected Zaharans with their planet had somehow also connected to him a bit? That would require some looking into it.

“It is definitely a lovely place,” Janna agreed with a soft smile. “What about your last assignment? Tell me about that,” she said, leaving the question wide open. He wasn’t evasive but she also suspected they would just skim the surface. Which could be entirely fine. She would soon see.

He smiled at her, his eyes focusing on hers. “What about it? Is there something specific you’d like to know?” he asked.

“Well, how has it differed from previous assignments. What did you like about it? What didn’t you like about it,” she said , her eyes gleaming slightly.
