The shuttle came to a landing in the bay with a small thump. “Welcome to the Athena, Ensign,” the pilot said, bringing the Bajoran out of his nap. He nodded, standing and grabbing his bag.

He slung the duffle over his left shoulder and walked out of the shuttle bay, looking around and committing the areas to memory. He flagged down a passing Ensign and asked for directions to Sickbay. Once he was informed, he thanked the Ensign and quickly made his way, eager to get the standard boarding rituals out of the way so he could get to work.

He entered Sickbay, setting down his bag and waiting for someone on the medical staff to be available.

The Sickbay was large and teeming with life, plenty seemed to be going today with doctors and nurses pacing around the large room. However, after only a few moments a nurse walked up to him “Please follow me Ensign” Leading him to an empty biobed nearby “A Doctor will be with you shortly” He said before moving away. Only a minute afterward a doctor approached the Bajoran. He was a tall thin human with dark hair wearing a long blue doctors coat, his rank pip marked him as a junior lieutenant.

Caser picked up his bag and followed the nurse before setting it back down after arriving at the aforementioned biobed. He nodded and sat down on it, looking around the large room. He did his best not to look directly at any other patients, as not to disturb their privacy.

He sat in a swivel chair in front of the young scientist holding a PaDD. After a moment he looked up from the device and smiled, his eyes were an intense shade of green “Ensign, I’m Doctor Benjamin Grey, I’ll be conducting your physical for today.” He placed the PaDD in his coat pocket, replacing it with a medical Tricorder. removing the wand he dragged himself closer and started casually moving it around “This your first Ship assignment?” He asked casually.

Dr. Grey - CMO

The question drew a smirk and a nod. “That obvious, sir? I thought I was hiding it rather well. I’ve been out of the Academy for a couple of years while pursuing my doctorate, but, yes. This is my actual first shipboard assignment.” There’s nothing out of the ordinary on the scan aside from a repaired shoulder dislocation that’s about three or four years old.
