PADDs in hand, Janna moved out of her office into the general suite. She set three of her PADDs on the reception desk. “Hi Cherry. These three need appointments set up for next week and reminders the day before as well.”

“Is Laraan with anyone, right now?”

Cherry beamed a smile at Jenna, her locks bouncing. “No, Laraan is free, watering her plants I bet.” she said.

  • Cherry Blossom, PA

Kingston smiled and nodded . “Okay, thanks.”

Ringing the chime, Janna tapped the nail of her index finger on her thumb.

When admitted, she stepped in and gave Laraan a weary smile. “Got a minute? I thought we should chat about the post-trauma situation on the ship.”

Laraan nodded while putting down the watering can and walked over to the sofa, indicating Jenna to take a seat.

“Yes let’s do that, please take a seat Jenna. How have you been holding up?” she sang.

  • Laraan, CNS

OC: It’s Janna, with an ‘a’, not Jenna. :P

Moving to the sofa, the blond haired woman sat with a bit of a tired flop. “I’m exhausted. Normally between the six of us we can handle a crew this size, but a large-scale event like this is calling for overtime just to meet the necessary evals and urgent cases. I don’t know about you, but I’m worried about the percentage of cases that could later present as PTSD if we’re not on top of things. I don’t think we have a choice but to consider this an emergency situation and extend our case loads for the time being.”

Janna sat forward a bit. “But obviously we won’t be able to keep it up for an extended period of time. So I’m thinking it would be good for the captain to be be brought in on this and maybe we can get the department heads to identify members of their department that are showing certain symptoms? I’ve already had people come to me worried about different people they work or share quarters with.”
