Allison waited until the lounge was due to be mostly empty, then she went in. She wore her duty clothes, of course. Not as if she had much else. She stepped through the doors and glanced around until she saw the person she was looking for. Behind the bar, of course. As a Lounge Host was apt to do. She didn’t want to startle the woman, but she would have to get her attention.The science officer glanced around. Only one or two folks around. She could minimize the chance of people finding out. Her record stated she had been briefly stationed to the Genny, but she wasn’t sure if Marishka’s said as such. Allie stepped over to the bar and tapped on the smooth surface. “A Shirley Temple, if you will?” She spoke, wondering if the Orion/Klingon woman remembered her aversion to alcohol and how often she would get that particular drink back in the Genny days…

Marishka turned and saw the woman who had just ordered a Shirley Temple and recognized her immediately. She and Allison hadn’t had much interaction but she remembered everyone from the Geny and gave her the drink she requested.
“Welcome, lovely morning isn’t it? Or perhaps it’s evening. I loose track of time very quickly.” she said with a smile.
What did this woman want? Marishka wondered.

Allison smiled slightly. “I’m Allison. I’ve just arrived on the Athena,” she commented, glancing at at her wrist, where there was a small wristwatch. “Looks like mid afternoon.”

Marishka assumed that if Allison were curious enough about her she might check the crew bio and find that there was no mention of the Genesis in this one. Hopefully Allison would keep that to herself.
“And so it is. Welcome to the Athena. How are you finding the ship so far?” she asked pouring an iced raktajino for herself.

Allison nodded slightly. “It’s doing fairly well. I’ve done all my check-ins and worked a shift or two,” she spoke, taking a sip of her drink. “How long have you been on the Athena, miss… Um… Lounge Host?” She smiled awkwardly.

Marishka set her drink on the bar and waved to one of her staff.
“Not long. I came on before we left the station. Mostly I’ve been here whipping this place into shape. So many interesting people don’t you think?”
Marishka knew that was an open ended question and had meant it as such.
