IC: Izzy grinned and began setting up the chips for each player and the two decks, passing one each to the other players to shuffle at their leisure. “Poker with Ferengi was beginner level?” Her brows rose. “You would think that since it involved betting, they would be experts at it.”

IC: “Oh they certainly can be, but once you understand how they think…well…you can get them running in circles before you know it.” Orvos replied to the lovely red headed woman at the table. “Then again, maybe they are truly difficult, and I only see them as easy because I’m that good.” He added as a mock gloat with a chuckle.

“I still think you should keep your previous thought about us being more of a challenge in mind,” Janna said with a grin as she shuffled some of the cards. “While I can’t speak for Isabel, I suspect she can be as surprising as I can sometimes be,” she added, winking in Delaney’s direction.

“You may well be right Janna,” he replied with a sly grin. Yes, he had played poker with a few ferrengi and they really were some of his worst opponents in the game. But Orvos played poker seldom. These two, and anyone else who decided to join, would likely prove to be a challenge for Orvos one way or another. But he enjoyed it nonetheless.

“No, you see, I know I am,” Kingston added with a grin. “Hazards of my occupation.” Still, as much as she could peg people fairly quickly, there were others that just resisted analysis. Orvos was one of them and it only served to make her more and more curious. He was a puzzle and she was the kind of person that just couldn’t put a puzzle down once it was picked up.
