Koraia couldn’t help but grin a bit. “You’d hardly be the first to be subjected to the grapevine of a ship. And the Athena, as large as it is, has a very solid one, let me assure you.”
“If I need to speak with you privately outside of here, what ‘s the best way?”

Marishka thought about it for a bit.
“Well, since you’re the Captain, you can call me anywhere you need me and, I’m sure, nobody would raise an eyebrow. I have to admit that I’m not in my quarters very often so I wouldn’t try there. I am, however, trying to implement a new facet to our lounge. Kind of an in quarters meal delivery service. If your replicator’s out in the middle of the night and you don’t want to rouse an engineer, just call the lounge. I’m sure we can think of something if that doesn’t work for you.” Marishka said.

“Indeed,” Ghubari said. It was a bit of an amusing thing for Marishka to start on a ship this size, but it certainly made a good front for surreptitious conversations. “Before we end this conversation, how many people know who you really are so far?”

Marishka smiled.
“Only your current CIO and Julien. I believe Orvos might think there’s something more to me but nothing else that I’m aware of. Does he bear close watching?” she asked in amusement.

Ghubari considered this for a moment. “Don’t worry about Orvos. I will deal with anything on that front. Though if you ever have concerns about anyone or anything, i want to know. You’re my eyes and ears here, in ways that people like Stark can’t be. Hopefully, it’ll all work in our favour.” It was slightly optimistic of her, but then again so much was riding on this little mission she had put together that if she didn’t have any hope at all, she might as well give it all up now.

Marishka nodded and finished her drink. She had known people like Orvos before and he was the type of amusement she needed to keep certain abilities sharp.
“If I have any concerns I will be certain to contact you. Now our five minutes are going to be up soon and we’ll be able to hear everything going on out there, and they’ll be able to hear us. I wouldn’t worry about it though. So if you think we’ll be seeing each other often, just be certain to call the kitchen for an order and make it something you like because I have to appear with it.”
Marishka paused for a moment reviewing her thoughts.
“Oh yes. One more thing. And I don’t care if this gets overheard. I’m trying to name this lounge. Orvos has given me several interesting ideas and Stark has given me one as well. Do you have any?”
