OOC: Julia might not be able to be super active in the main sim for the next several weeks, so in the interest in not holding up the sim, either Kaylee does go, or I would suggest calling in Janna (she’s in Sickbay helping out right now) to step in. ~Linds
Kaylee turned to Laraan and Eddington. “If I may suggest that we send our assistant Counselor with you, Janna Kingston,” She said. “She might help soften the surprise of you bringing a Heleen with you.” She smiled gently.
OOC: I think Kallen would be the logical choice in this situation, as Kaylee’s doppleganger is the assassin. But I’ll leave it up to the GM if you want me to jump in there I can, even as an NE if need be.

A moment later the doors to the conference room opened and admitted the possibly imposing figure of the captain, phaser rifle in hand and all. She took in Luka, Kaylee and Laraan, plus their guests. “We need to break orbit to pursue our saboteur. What’s the situation here?” she asked, her tone stiff. Laraan and Kaylee knew her well enough to know she was damn well pissed and holding it back, but she and Luka were still getting to know one another.

OOC This must be flashback Friday :-) I’m assuming you all mean Janna Kingston, not Kallen Reese right? We have mirror Kallen on the planet ( a mystery yet to be taken up with our resident mirrorman Michail Reese) but our Kallen is no more. I’ve made some edits, please forgive the intrusion. I’d be ok with Kaylee going planetside, it was my original thought, let me clean up a bit.)

Eddington spoke to the heavily armed Captain, “If you’re deciding between a diplomat and a counsellor to help out with the talks then I’d be the first to suggest that we have both.” He turned to Kaylee, “Your doppelganger is an assassin, true, but the only people who know that are in this room or on a ship with them now as we speak”.R’han added with a wry smile, “My weather engineer Orvos knows as well, in fact, it was him who brought the fact to my attention, something I wish I had shared with you all earlier. However he’s very tight-lipped so I’m sure he’ll give you no trouble if I alert him… mind you, I’d have to find him first…”

Ghubari eyed their guests with slight suspicion, but she knew all too well that she had little choice here. “Kaylee, take Janna with you to the shuttlebay and get down there. But be warned, the ship will leaving on pursuit. I’ll send Ensign Va’Ser-La from security with you, and you’ll find Commander Stark and Lieutenants Vander and Legen down there. They’ll provide all the back up you need. Now hurry, we’re running out of time here,” the captain ordered.
OOC: For the sake of brevity and not stalling action, I say that unless Ian has objections, that we forgo the actual shuttle thread to the surface and just have the team arrive. Sound fair?

=/\= Stark to the Captain. We’ve just discovered a missing Bajoran Orb down here on Risa. If our intel is correct it’s a vessel for the Prophets to keep this universe and our universe apart. If it’s not returned to the proper place then apparently they’re going to merge into one universe which from all accounts is going to be disastrous for both =/\=
