Benjamin smiled at her quite refreshing point of view, having spent so much time with climbers he’d forgotten how much such enthusiasm was enjoyable. “Well my advice on that front is be the best doctor you can, talent and abilities are easily recognizable.” He shrugged “Constant improvement is the name of the game, you don’t know what skills will be helpful in the future so gather those you can” He paused “Before we get to your place on the duty roster, do you have any questions for me?” He asked.

Jessica’s eyes sparkled an even deeper green as she listened to Grey’s response. She smiled again and nodded her agreement with his statement. “I appreciate the advice,” she commented, her voice sincere. “I don’t have any questions at this point, but I reserve the right to come up with some later.” She grinned and laughed lightly at her own comment.

Benjamin smiled in response to her comment “Of course” He went through his neat row of PaDDs and picked a central one. He activated it and read the information before turning it over to Lemann, it was her work itinerary “You’re assigned to the morning shift at first with rotating Bravo and Delta shifts in there. You’ll be assigned with your own team of Nurses and other junior Doctors. I’m assigning Ensign Niles to your team, She’s a junior doctor who was assigned here when I first arrived, she’ll show you where everything is” He paused for a moment as he realized something “huh” He half-smiled “I just realized we all have green eyes, how fun” He said in an amused tone “Well in any case all the information is on that, You’ll mostly split your time between Sickbay’s One and Two.” He finished his explanation.

Jessica’s small hand reached out to collect the offered PaDD in something slightly akin to a snatch given her excitement to get down to business. “That sounds great,” she commented quickly as her eyes scanned the information he had given her. She giggled slightly at his amusement over their collective eye color. “You’ll have to let the Captain know that’s a requirement for any future crew transfers,” she added, with another laugh. “It’s been a pleasure to meet you, Doctor,” she continued, getting to her feet. “If you don’t mind, I’d like to wander around a bit and get a feel for things before my first official shift.”
