It was very late in the evening or, perhaps, early in the morning when Marishka arrived at the lounge again.Slipping behind the bar, she began reading notes people had left her while there was still a few minutes of quiet. The next wave of people would be getting off shift soon and a good percentage of them were likely to stop by or request food be delivered to their quarters.

A woman with blonde hair pulled into a high ponytail and striking blue eyes quietly slipped into a barstool. She gave Marishka a smile as they made eye contact.
“Whiskey neat please,” Kaylee said.
