Konral watched as Stark left as he looked over at Ghubari. “Penny for your thoughts Rain?” he said softly, it wasn’t quite needed as a saying, he could sense everything but he wanted to give her a chance to gather her thoughts. Living off Betazed he often tried to give everyone a chance, even with his wife being half telepathic he tended to want to give some leeway seeing as she was the Captain as well.

All the strategizing in the galaxy wasn’t going to give them the edge they needed but she knew also that their determination was actually something important on their side. The problem was that the other side was equally determined and she next to nothing about their operations. She hated operating in the dark and this was about as dark as it got.

Turning to head to Konral, she sighed. “It feels like we’re chasing ghosts and shadows. Tell me I’m doing the right thing? That going after the Conclave is necessary.”

“Yes, only because it’s most likely the only thing we really have. That doesn’t make it any less right. Ignoring, isn’t an option… and spreading information about it will cut off all leads before we even have a chance… so yes Rain you are doing the right thing.” he said softly as he leaned over as he kissed her cheek softly.

She let out a small sigh of relief, her emotions matching. For a moment Ghubari dreaded that he would tell her she was going overboard, but his reassurance meant a great deal.

“Besides, it wouldn’t be you if you fought for everything,” he said softly as he took a deep breath.

Koraia snorted. “Tooth and nail. Never been one to give up a fight, that’s for sure.” With their plan in place she could feel the fatigue seep into her bones. “But there’s nothing to fight tonight. Even sleep. I think I’m going to turn in.”
