OOC: This is pre-sim but I’d say after her surreptitious meeting with Stark and Konral.
IC:
She couldn’t sleep. It wasn’t the first time, nor would it be the last. Occupational hazard. Rolling over, she kissed Konral gently on the cheek as he slept and snuck out of bed, quietly dressing in her typical colourful khanga wrap skirt (this one in gold, black and purple) and a sleeveless form fitting top in black. It was more or less her off-duty uniform and had been for many, many years.
Sometimes, Ghubari forgot how much time had passed. It seemed to her to be this amorphous sensation punctuated by massive life-altering events. She found herself having to pause right now and figure out where she was at.
Normally that would involve deep meditation and her iboga, but her lioness guide had been notably absent as of late and she felt it was some sort of key portent that made her uneasy.
Slipping quietly into the lounge, the empath was aware of those few people present, but she paid them no overt attention, beelining for the grand piano sitting proudly in one corner near the windows. As promised, Marishka had left it alone. Her dark fingers caressed the edge of the glossy surface as she moved around it, letting her fingers drop to her sides as she took a seat on the bench. Taking a deep breath, Ghubari simply surrendered herself and began warming up with some very basic jazz études.
