Karina was alone in the auxiliary sick bay on deck 39. She had volunteered to man the overnight shift as a way to get back into the swing of things once more. She was sipping on some juice, leaning back in the office chair, as she went over some files of things that happened while she was away. “While they were away,” she corrected herself out loud. She had always been in this universe. It was the Athena that had been lured to another place and time. Or was it, just another place? She shook her head and went back to what she was reading.Without realizing it, she started humming.

DoctorSince arriving aboard the Athena, Marishka had very rarely left the lounge which she still had yet to name. Perhaps that was going to be the running joke. The stack of suggestions was growing and she looked through it at least twice a week but the chance to sit down and discuss it with the Captain always seemed to slip away. So did the chance to finish the treatments for her throat that the handsome green eyed doctor had been giving her. But if she was ever going to get up and sing before a crowd, it had to be done soon.
Somewhere in the dead of night she found a few minutes to slip away and, for some reason, wound up in this particular sickbay.

Liam’s hands straightened his tunic then checked his bandaged arms. Blood leaked into the white from superficial wounds and Joseph insisted he get it checked. If not for his doses of radiation being depleted, he would’ve skipped the chore completely. It was a lesson in playing an Engineer when he clearly wasn’t one. It shouldn’t take long, and he hoped to renew his doses once again.
