Now that the Athena was finally back, Viyara figured that she should probably get her boarding evaluations out of the way. So it was with her usual aura of self-confidence that she walked into the reception area of the counselling suite. She walked straight towards the reception desk and resting her left elbow onto its surface, she leaned against it. Smiling charmingly at the person on the other side of the counter, she said, “I’m here for my boarding evaluation. Should I make an appointment or is one of the counsellors free now?”~Ensign Nazeen, Scientist
A dark figure curled up on a couch off to the side unwound and stood up. “Welcome aboard the Athena, Viyara Nazeen”.

If she was surprised being addressed by name, Viyara didn’t show it as she turned her head and looked at Stark. Smiling widely she said, “Thank you,” before focusing her attention back on the receptionist.
Liane, one of the receptionists, smirked at Stark but focused on Nazeen. “Doctor Kingston should be free shortly. She’s currently in session, but she should be the first out. If you’ll have a seat…” she said gesturing to the comfortable waiting chairs.

“Thank you,” Viyara replied with a smile and slightly flirtatious note in her voice before turning gracefully on her heels and walking over the waiting area. Slipping into one of the chairs close to Stark, she leaned back and settled into a comfortable position, her legs crossed at the knee. For a moment or two she mustered him curiously and then asked rather bluntly, though still smiling warmly, “Do read all the files of every person who gets newly assigned to this ship?”

Stark’s smile widened, “Yes , I do, but I find that a face to face is usually much more revealing and after talking to the pilot that brought you here I determined that I simply had to come see for myself who could have turned such a pirate inside out”.

“It was a fun journey,” Viyara replied with a mischievous smirk. Shifting her position so that she was leaning forward with her upper body supported by her arm that was resting on the armrest, she looked Stark straight in the eyes and said, “But you haven’t even told me your name. And is it out of professional interest that you check people out, out of personal curiosity or a mix of both?”
