“The ship has large recreational areas so we’ll meet in Seventeen Eighteen Forward. Down the stairs in the lounge is a smaller area that fewer people go to. But there are meeting rooms just down the hall where we can have staff meetings. Turning a bit more., Janna counted off the offices. “First door on the left, the red one, is yours. Next, the blue is mine. Green is Delvan’s. Yellow for Kiala and Purple for Zoren. All rooms are sound proof and secure, and the Recreation Hall can service all your hot tub needs!” Okay, she was having a hard time letting go of the cheeky attitude, but it was a large part of who she was, so at least it was honest.

Séan nodded his head. “Fantastic. Then if you’d be so kind to lead me to your office, I’d like to get my eval with you done so I can get some sleep. I think it’s fair to say it’s been a long day. Nice meeting you again Cherry and I look forward to working with you.” He finished with a smile for the woman behind the desk.

Cherry bowed her head again and waved.

Janna moved around the large desk and into her office. In the modest space that Séan could assume was the same size as the other offices, the petite woman seemed to fit the cozy setting. She didn’t go to great lengths to decorate, but it was definitely more than the standard grey furniture and carpet. On the wall above the couch was an image of an ocean scene that could be almost anywhere and the standard grey slim arm chairs had been replaced with softer larger armchairs in a dark blue that looked inviting to curl up into. On top of the standard carpet, the sitting area was covered in a plush rug in different shades of blues that matched the ocean in the photo. On the other side of the room where she mostly worked, there was a tall leafy plant near her desk and a single silver photo frame on the corner of the desk where she could easily see it when she worked at the computer terminal. Overall, the place was warm but practical and uncluttered- much like Janna.

“I need coffee. Can I grab you anything?” Kingston asked as she beelined for the replicator.

“Whisky if you have any but tea would be great if you don’t.” Séan said with a smile as he took a seat in one of the comfy armchairs. He crossed a leg over his knee as he waited for Janna to finish getting the beverages. He observed how the room was decorated and the arrangement of the seating. He looked at the ocean scene on the wall and wondered which ocean it was depicting.
