Juvri smiled at that. She had never been in trouble for that, considering she’d never done much that would lead her to end up beaten up, but she could see how doctors might think it was a nuisance.
She got into position, sizing up Viyara and deciding how best to use what she’d just been taught before she moved towards the other woman and threw a punch, not holding back as Viyara had instructed.

Anticipating Juvri’s attack, Viyara shifted her body and her arms swiftly to block her. She could tell that the other woman wasn’t holding back and gave her a wide smile. “Keep going,” she encouraged her while staying at the ready.

She nodded, throwing another one of the punches Viyara had taught, and then a kick, trying to either get around or break Viyara’s guard. She had to admit, she was having a lot of fun. She was a little worried about hurting Viyara, but the bulky protective gear was designed for this, so she trusted it to do its job.

Viyara blocked first Juvri’s punch and then her kick. Though when she blocked the latter she did more than just block it. She actually grabbed her ankle and grinned at Juvri. Not exactly a fair move, but a fun one.

Juvri stumbled when her ankle was grabbed, the sudden end to the movement unbalancing her. But she managed not to fall over as she tried to jerk her leg away. “Hey! You didn’t teach that!” She said, though she didn’t seem like she was actually upset. She still looked she was having fun.

“Nope, I didn’t” Viyara grinned. “But I never said I play fair while sparring,” she added with a wink as she let go of Juvir’s leg. She hoped that she wouldn’t lose her balance and fall; realising too late that it would have been nice to give her a warning.
