Jennifer gave the Admiral a small, but slightly tense smile. “I feel like I’ve just started here and already I’m on shore leave. What a wacky thing, eh?”

“Is that guilt I hear behind that statement?” The Admiral remarked with a shrewd look, “If it makes you feel any better you could always take on the job of ensuring the rotation works out for all concerned. Did I mention that this place is big enough that you could send your whole crew down all at once if you were of a mind? So how about you gather up your people and let’s be off”.

Wallace chuckled nervously. “Maybe a little,” she muttered under her breath. The crew were all in need of a break after what they’d just been through.
Ghubari just shook her head and tapped her commbadge. =/\=Captain Koraia to all crew. Prepare to disembark within the hour. We’ll be heading out as soon as all crew accounted for. Further information will be supplied shortly. Koraia out.=/\= She looked at the Admiral. “Well then, with that done, we should probably get preparations done. Commander Wallace can assure you get VIP quarters assigned. Is there anything else you’ll need while we’re at it?”

The mini assignment from Ghubari was helpful. Jennifer pulled out her PaDD and sent a quick note to Hammor about the VIP quarters, asking him to check that the VIP quarters were ready to receive.

The Admiral ran a hand through her blonde hair, “Quarters for my two aides would be all I would need at present. They prefer to be quartered together, inseparable the two of them.” She stopped and then added, “If it’s not too much to ask, a party would be nice to ease the journey along. It’s not often I get to go to one. One requirement… no dress uniforms, casual only, no ceremony, this is supposed to be a bit of fun”.

“No quarters for yourself, Admiral?” Jennifer paused in her typing.

“The Captain just kindly asked you to allocate me the VIP quarters. It would be very helpful if my two aides were close by. They take their job very seriously”. She continued to walk as they talked heading unerringly towards the quarters soon to be hers.

Ghubari let the correction slid smoothly on by, though she cast a tiny wink Jennifer’s way. It was all good. “A welcome party. Well, we can certainly host one of those. I keep joking that I have command over a very large cruise ship, facility-wise, of course. I’m sure the host of our lounge, called the Pathenon will be easily able to accommodate a social gathering on short notice.”
