What was it with people being cryptic with her all the time lately?! First Michail now this Admiral. With her jaw clenched Viyara left the lounge and started walking down the corridor without a destination in mind. The last words of the Admiral still running through her mind over and over again: ‘The mind in and of itself can make a heaven out of hell and a hell out of heaven. This is something I know from my own personal experience. Those who make a heaven of hell must share their expertise, those who walk through hell must not take down roots there, they must keep moving, or else they miss heaven entirely. I know I’m speaking cryptically my dear and I know that you probably hate that but there is a purpose to it and all I can say at the moment is that by the time this shore leave is done you will understand this on a personal level.’
She didn’t even notice where her feet were carrying her, but eventually she found herself in the main science lab. A small smile tugged at the corners of her lips and she felt her body relax a little. Even though she wasn’t entirely sure where she and the CSO were at, this was a save haven of sorts. Looking around the room, she wondered what she wanted to do now that she was here. Nothing that would get her in trouble. She had enough of that already. So maybe just doing some reading.
