P’Tah was momentarily distracted as he saw S’Raal, T’Pon and baby Meryidiyth heading for the pool. Looking back to Stark he bowed slightly. “One or two if you’re interested”.

OOCI’m assuming that Isabel and Janna went with Hammor and Tello to talk to Thoth, up to you though.

OOC: I’m okay with that. Orvos and Viyara are still there too, so I would assume they’d go with or have other questions.
Janna moved quietly over to the booth. “I want to parasail, I think…” she said uncertainly. Normally decisive and confident, Janna felt a bit at a loss here. There were too many unknown variables and something that was so simple for others was incredibly difficult for her. “But I want to relax on the beach after too.”

~Janna Kingston, CNS

OOC: Viyara is planning on going wherever Janna is going.

“Parasailing is a lot of fun,” Viyara grinned as she followed Janna. “Are you still okay with me coming with you? Otherwise I can do something else as well.” There was a hint of uncertainty in her voice, that she tried to hide. She would like to stay with Janna and parasailing was something she enjoyed, but she also didn’t want her to feel like she had to say yes. After all, they were patient and therapist and this was supposed to be a vacation for all of them. So the last thing she wanted to happen was this to feel liek work for Janna.

~Ensign Nazeen, Scientist

OOC I’ll copy this conversation across to the Tomb Raider Thread which is where the parasailing will be happening :-) Anyone who didn’t go to the fantasy booth can continue to ask questions here with Stark.

Stark has been tapping a single claw on his chin. “These fantasies are only limited by our imagination right?”

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Izanami disengaged herself from P’tah and smiled, “Correct”.

P’tah was still looking disconcerted by this young firebrand that had attached herself to him but his professional demeanour remained intact. “Correct” he tried to say it as if it was his phrase and not hers.

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist

Stark started talking to himself, “Gunslinger, pirate, martial arts master… been there done that, hmmm, but they were also such fun… Knight, done that too. Oooh the choices roll on”. Finally he snapped his paws together. “Got it!” He paused, “Maybe”

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Yami, dressed in a light grey jump suit, arrived and gave her sister a quick hug. P’tah seemed appreciative of the brief respite it gave him from the clinging Izanami.

Yami’s facial scar seemed less prominent in the natural sky lighting of the hotel foyer and she seemed more relaxed. “Having trouble coming up with a fantasy Stark?” she asked with a smile.

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist

OOC oops wrong Character sign off.

Stark nodded, “My life has been pure insanity from the start and I’m a bit worried that if I start an adventure that no one will want to join me for fear I’ll get them killed”.

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Yami chucked him under the chin making Stark involuntarily start for the second time today. “I like danger, I’m in”.

Izanami’s eyes went wide and even P’tah didn’t miss the way Yami was looking at the hapless Caitian. Stifling a giggle Izanami ribbed the still thoughtful dark furred Caitian. “Careful Stark, my sister is trouble”. P’tah looked down at Izanami now again firmly attached to his arm, Izanami rolled her eyes, ‘OK, ok, it runs in the family”.

Stark touched his chin where Yami had touched it. He looked far away and thoughtful for a moment and then snapped his attention back into the present. “Do the hotel staff get to avail themselves of this Fantasy thing?” he asked looking at P’tah.

Stark Nightstalker CIO

P’tah nodded and chose his words carefully as he replied, “There are tests that need to be made so yes we do get to try it out occasionally”.

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist

Orvos had managed to allow himself to fade into the background as various others asked questions and ventured into new fantasies. When many had left, he felt a bit free to ask some questions.

“Now, now Stark, I’m always up for an adventure. It seems the others have swept away on their own little vacation. However,” he said finally turning to P’tah.

“I do have some questions. Parameters for a fantasy can only go so far, I imagine. Perhaps a bit like a holodeck? What makes this any different? Is there technology that can read thoughts?” He also eyed the twins as he asked his questions.

-Lt. Commander Orvos Legen, CE

P’tah tapped a finger on his chin twice before replying. “Astute questions but then people of your stature have seen much. Rather than answer your questions directly why don’t you tell me the parameters of your fantasy and I’ll tell you whether or not we can accommodate you Mr Legen”.

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist

Stark grinned viciously, “I’m drawing a blank Orvos, been there, done that kind of thing. Give him your best shot, whatever you’ve got planned I want in”.

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Orvos thought for a moment, unsure of how much information he really wanted to share. What was this planet truly capable of? Could it truly exhibit any fantasy?

“I want to find my old ship, the Aurora. I’ve not been aboard it for quite some time. And while I know the schematics of it by heart, it may be too much for me to share in a particular amount of time.” He thought more and allowed P’tah or someone else to speak too. “That, or find out what things would have been like if my homeworld was not destroyed by the borg.”

-Lt. Commander Orvos Legen, CE

P’tah stepped forward from Izanami’s embrace and bowed slightly, “Orvos Legen, watcher, listener, I would be honoured to assist you in taking this journey. It is possible and we shall do it.”

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist

Stark’s dark eyes went as round as saucers, “I’m in, I’m so in”.

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Orvos gave a sly grin as he eyed Stark. “Of course you are!” he said with a laugh. “Well P’tah, show me the way.”

-Lt. Commander Orvos Legen, CE

OOC: I’m open to others wanting to join as well. :)

OOC Yes, please do, people can relieve you on the ship and being as this is a bit of a different storyline I’m only planning to run the one storyline on board, the one that’s now in sickbay.

P’tah motioned to the nearby fantasy booth. “Thoth will see to you every whim” he said with a smile”

OOC We’ll swop to the other thread for the rest of this.

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist

OOC Keeping this alive for anyone else who wants to come down to the hotel. Just to reiterate, apart from the mysterious stranger on the ship all other action will be planet-side.

P’tah watched the hustle and bustle of the hotel and pulled up his voluminous sleeves exposing well formed arms and perfectly manicured nails. Izanami looked down rather despairingly at her own cuticles making P’tah laugh a little.

“Must keep up your image my dear” he said taking her hands in his. When she removed them her fingernails were also pristine, and coloured a deep purple.

She gave him a peck on the cheek. “And this is why I keep you around” she said with a smile.

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist

A prickle went down P’tah’s spine and he was instantly on alert.

Izanami clutched him tightly, “Impossible” she whispered…

Flashes of white light appeared throughout the lobby, at the pool and onto the expansive grounds as the entire crew of the Athena materialised in groups huddling bemused.

P’tah said a word in another language but the inflexion was plain.

Jennifer cried out in shock, letting out a few choice words before she realized that she was surrounded by her own crew. “Okay, everyone be calm,” she stammered. She had no idea what was going on. The Captain turned around, looking for Admiral Anathema. “Please tell me you know why my entire crew has just been beamed off our vessel, Admiral…” she muttered softly, immediately looking for that guy she talked to over the comms when they were arranging this little trip to hell.

Benjamin had been walking from the pool area, he was wearing swimming shorts and an unbuttoned shirt holding a glass that was now empty when his senses were suddenly assaulted by dozens of familiar scents. He spun around and looked at the group. He looked down at his glass then up at the Captain then back down at the glass “Ok I’m fairly certain I have not been drinking hallucinogens again” He took a hesitant step towards the Captain and paused waiting for her to finish the conversation with the Admiral.

Dr. Grey - CMO

Anethamai turned to the Captain and motioned for P’tah to join them. “I do know Captain, it was unforeseen and unthinkable until Hermes arrived, but after what he told us it was more or less inevitable. This is the work of Ares”.

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist

“I was hoping that wasn’t going to be the answer,” Jenn replied with a tired sigh. Given what Hermes had said in his explanation, Ares was his vengeful brother and a warlord, if she remembered correctly. A terrifying spectre. She looked to P’tah, then back to the Admiral. “Well, he has control of my ship now, and I’m not a fan of that. P’tah, does this facility have any ground-to-space transportation capabilities or defensive capabilities? We’re apparently up against a god, so I want to know what we’ve got in our corner.” She didn’t know how Captain Kirk defeated the Apollo character, but if she could she’d do her darndest to repeat that sucess.
