Intelligence Office - Securing Katrina

Posted March 5, 2023, 8:15 p.m. by Captain Orvos Legen (Commanding Officer) (Tony Findora)

A spark. It always began with a spark. The feeling of various bits of her programming becoming active. After the initial shock, her power supply was the first to activate followed by her motherboard. Then her internal and external sensors. Her initial analysis indicated that all systems were operating smoothly. Her memory banks were active, recording the various sensations she felt. Internal diagnostics showed all was well. External sensors indicated the CIO herself had sparked Katrina to life. She then immediately began integrating into the systems within the office. Sensors, computer data, holo-emitters, etc.

The room appeared to have many layers of security, isolating herself from most of the rest of the ship. Queries into the computer made her realize that this was normal procedure for intelligence officers within starfleet and that it was not necessarily unique to Katrina’s presence.

A greeting was likely anticipated at the current juncture of time, so she accessed the holo-emitters and recreated the woman form she had been programmed with. In the room, a slightly curvy young woman with hair to the nape of her neck appeared. She seemed to be wearing a white dress that came down to her knees.

“Ah, Calloway, Faye. Lieutenant Commander. Greetings once again!” she added with some enthusiasm.
