“How do you intend to approach this very delicate conversation?” Janna asked, knowing full well that one could feign openness. But she didn’t expect Dawson to bear his soul to her or anything. That was never the goal in a boarding eval and she certainly didn’t expect it from an intelligence officer. At best she could hope for an understanding and some mutual respect and the knowledge that Janna wasn’t the enemy and was here to help.
