“I never really thought about it. I tend to go with the flow when it comes to things like that, I guess.” He said, rather confident in his ability to do so. “But if I had to give a different answer, I would like to study white dwarf stars the most right now.”

“What about beyond tasks you might do, what sort of skills or things about you yourself, George Haroon, do you think are important and add to the wonderful mix here on the ship?” Janna wouldn’t force answers, but she also wanted to make sure she hit certain areas during their conversation.

“Well I never really thought about it before, but I’m sure my introverted personality is worth mentioning. Though, while I’m an introvert, I had friends on Earth who commended me for my ability to listen to their opinions.”

She smiled. “Being able to listen is most definitely a good skill to have, and very valuable in a team setting. do you still keep in touch with your friends?” Janna asked. A lot of her job right now wasn’t just making sure someone was fit for duty to to spot areas where they might need support as they settled into life on a new posting. Being new to a ship was never easy, as Janna well remembered.

“We have the occasional contact, but the teen years were very different from today, and most of us drifted apart as we went our separate directions. Maybe we should plan a reunion, now that I think about it…” He said, trailing off into thoughts about them.

“That could be fun to plan. Are your friends also in Starfleet?” Janna asked curiously, going with where he took her during this conversation.
