OOC: okay. My character can wait. ~Dan

OOC Thanks for your patience my friend.

OOC: Alright, Ian. While you answer Jones’ scans, could you also include a small description of the scene Liam’s walking in on?

OOC Done, this may help too http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/File:Guardian_of_Forever,_2267.jpg

Liam walked in silence, the effort to talk wasn’t there. In automatic, he followed the XO toward the Guardian. Upon arriving, his eyes flickered to Jones and acknowledged the man’s presence. Liam noticed that Joseph was still missing, but placed his worry in a small compartment and stored away for the future.

There was a definite sense of presence around the Guardian of Forever. It sat in the middle of what looked for all the world like the ruins of a Greek or Roman city. Broken pillars lay around in disarray with the Guardian brooding over the dusty remnant like a relic of bygone days. It’s rough squashed donut shaped form pulsed with energy and the images playing in fast forward over it’s surface were very disconcerting. Approaching it was like approaching high voltage power lines, there was something undefinable in the air, something alive.

The initial scans brought back a very surprising and recognize-able result, high levels of silicon and low level energy readings. Jones would instantly recognise that the Guardian’s outer shell had the same chemical markers that the strange painting they had been studying had had, almost identical in fact.

The Guardian’s commanding voice spoke up. “What is it you seek?”

When the Guardian’s voice appeared to rumble through the ruins, Liam paused abruptly. Immediately sarcasm laced his thoughts at wanting answers, but kept his mouth shut. He had the impression the being before him didn’t either understand or take kindly to rudeness. Rather than saying anything, Liam’s eyes shifted to Jones to see if he had more information than the CSO himself.
