“No problem,” Viyara called up as she slightly adjusted her position and all. “Pay attention to your legs and when needed push yourself slightly off the wall. I don’t want you to get hurt.” That said, she started to slowly lower Juvri back to the ground and it wouldn’t be long till the other woman had solid rock under feet again. Walking over to her she asked, “Are you okay? Did you get hurt?” Her buoyant, nonchalant attitude seemed suddenly a little subdued and concern flickered in her mismatched eyes for a short moment before she hit it behind her charming smile.

“I’m alright,” Juvri said, looking down at her hands. It seemed she was, the most that had happened were the red marks on her palms from climbing the rocks - something a more experienced climber likely wouldn’t even notice. “That was pretty fun!” She said looking up at Viyara and smiling. “Thanks for talking me into it!”

“Good,” Viyara replied with wide smile as she moved even closer to Juvri. “You did very well. Especially for someone who has never done this before.” Without asking, she reached for one of Juvri’s hands and started to gently massage her fingers, her palm, the back of her hand and her wrist.

“Oh- Hey! What’re you doing?” said Juvri, though she made no effort to pull her hand away. Instead, she simply gave Viyara a sort of bewildered look. But the impromptu hand massage did help with the soreness from her first climb.

Locking her eyes with Juvri’s, Viyara replied, “Just trying to make sure your hands don’t get sore.” She smiled softly, but there seemed to be … more in her smile and her voice than simply being altruistic and caring for her well-being. Though for once Viyara wasn’t flirting consciously or on purpose. Which made it much subtler and less straight forward than usual.
