Fixing her with a death glare that he knew had limited if no effect on the darned woman he said carefully, “you know I’ve always liked the ornaments in your office, it’d be a shame if someone had to remove them from somewhere embarrassingly uncomfortable wouldn’t it.”

“Uh huh.” The threat wasn’t swaying her gaze.

He shrugged his way out of the lab coat and tossed it to one side of the sofa. It clunked slightly from his tricorder and various other things in the pockets. He scowled at her, “We are all going to die the end is nigh. Two sugars, no cream,” he repeated,

With a tiny smirk, Relann moved over to the replicator and ordered a coffee for him and passionfruit tea for herself. Some people disliked the sweet smell, but she had fond memories of it associated with Roderick Mastleen. Besides, it was soothing and Alexx’s stormy mood required extra mental fortitude. “I know how you like your coffee,” she said as she handed the mug to him.

Sitting on the sofa, she regarded him. “So.. death, destruction. What form is it going to take?”
