“Back away from it, gotcha.” He said hunting the ale. “You didn’t say don’t drink it first…” he called back to her. Moving some bottles aside he found what he was looking for and brought it to the front of the bar. “You’d end up in the brig when she blames you for drunken misconduct on a full glass or two of this stuff.”

“Duly noted,” the Dy’allan said with raised eyebrows and a smirk. Avoid the blue stuff, got it.

He didn’t open th bottle however. “When’s this shindig supposed to start?”

“As soon as our guests arrive,” Relann replied.

Frank goes on to patrol the perimeter. Side eyes Ryley and Relann.

Gallagher

Since Gallagher was supposed to be with the arriving contingent, she figured they must be just about there. That and Mardusk was with them. “What are our guests like, Gallagher?” she called out, hoping for some insight before they arrived.

Fell-Drayke, XO

“Enroute Sir. I’m just doing one last sweep before they enter the room”

Gallagher

“That’s… good, but still not an answer to my question,” Fell said with a lopsided smirk.

Fell-Drayke, XO

“I’ve never met Klingons before, so I was taken aback at their size.”

Gallagher

Fell eyed the security officer intently for a moment, making a mental note. She finally nodded. “Okay. But… uh, next time, remember that details matter. Or at least you never know when they will, especially as a security officer.” It was a subtle chastisement, but nothing that was meant to be a slap on the wrist. She had high expectations of the crew and with sudden VIP guests on board, anything less than absolute commitment was unacceptable.

“Aye Sir”

Kelly walked into the lounge with Ian and the Klingons. She was surprised how amazing the placed looked in such a short period of time but Relann was resourceful. “is this to your standard,” she asked Mardusk and his friend looking around the room. “As you know time was of the essence but if we are missing something I will see what I can do to accomodate it.”

Captain Kelly Shultz

Relann approached and bowed her head respectfully. “Commander Relann Fell-Drayke, at your service,” she said simply, taking in their guests with her violet eyes. Still not sure what to expect, she searched for hints amongst their demeanour. But at the same time they were there for a wedding, so she doubted their moods would be dour. Klingons, she knew, were definitely an expressive people.

Fell-Drayke, XO

“Commander if you would assist Mr. Mardusk with an needs the wedding party has I will get ready to officiate,” Kelly said confidently

Captain Kelly Shultz

The Klingon contingent followed Mardusk into the Lounge. T’Kor looked around smiled. To the Klingons, it was a smile of appreciation. To anyone not versed in Klingon culture or physiology, it was a smile of a predator knowing it had cornered it’s prey… for Klingons they were remarkably similar. “Very nice, Captain. Yes… this will do nicely.” and he turned and barked at the wedding party. “buD wa’, togh!” (Hurry up, lazy ones!) and the wedding detachment began putting their burdens into place. Within a few moments banners were hung and several barrels of Blood Wine were strategically placed around the room with trays of goblets sitting near them. T’Kor watched and when the last piece was set, he yelled “yap! qem be’ ‘IH mate ‘ej!” (Enough! Bring in the bride and her mate!) and he looked at Kelly. “Captain, my daughter would be honored if you would be her Chief Attendant. It doesn’t require much. Just stand next to her and if a female objects to the union, simply stab her.” and without waiting for an answer he looked at Mardusk. “You will be his second, yes?” This time, his question was steeped with a hint of concern. Mardusk simply nodded, but a massive hand dropped to the Dk Tahg on his hip. Mardusk looked at the CO and XO and said in a low voice “Point of interest that may be applicable, Ma’ams. P’Kar. The one with one arm.” and he indicated with a small jerk of his big green head the large scowling Klingon standing near the door who was sans his left arm from the shoulder down. “He was supposed to be the groom. But, um, I may have kind of ruined his opportunity when I shot his arm off. Long story, I’ll fill you in at the reception.”

Mardusk, CoS

“Did he just say that my job as Maid of Honor is to stab anyone who objects,” Kelly asked Mardusk in a hushed tone. “And they say my ex’s family weddings were a bit redneck.”

“T’Kor while I do honor your traditions would it be possible for me just to stun any naysayers instead of actually stabbing them? Saves on the paperwork,” Kelly said dryly. She could not believe this was an actual request but if it were something legitimate she did want a plan in place. Obviously, she wasn’t going to stab anyone or shoot the first one to scream “you can not marry my daughter but if a kerfluffle did break out stunning people was the most effective.

Captain Kelly Shultz

“Oh fun,” Relann said dryly. “Well luckily I might have a few seconds extra reaction time,” she said, tapping her head briefly. “I’ll keep my eye on him.

Fell-Drayke, XO

Mardusk cast a glance at P’Kar and growled “Keep both on him. He’s shady.”

Mardusk, CoS

“Noted,” the Dy’allan replied, her mind automatically shifting into an even more heightened observational state. She was unarmed since that would send a bad message as a host of the party, but she also didn’t necessarily need a phaser on hand, should anything go down. “I’ll go play hostess then,” she said, giving them both a nod and moving away.

Relann took up a position a short distance from P’Kar with a PADD in hand as if she were going through party details. But her empathy and eyes were keeping tabs on everything happening around her.

Fell-Drayke, XO

Frank watched from a distance of the event. Looking around for any suspicious activity. Seeing that many Klingons the festivities could get boisterous. Frank knew he has got to be vigilant in keeping things under control.

Gallagher

Ryley stood still behind the bar and quietly organised the supply of celebratory beverages. Stereotypically he held a glass in his hand polishing it. Standing as makeshift barman he watched as the ceremony began to progress and tried to do what every good wedding guest did. Stay out of the way and try not to get too drunk before the reception properly started.
