Posted by… suppressed (2) by the Post Ghost! 👻The raven haired, half Orion shook her head as Mardusk left the holodeck. She had failed his test but apparently hadn’t been found lacking that much.
“Computer, location of Commander D’Vash?” She called out as she headed for the holodeck door.
“Commander Odinson is currently in the Chief of Intelligence’s office on deck 1,” came the computer’s reply
Once the response came, she headed in that direction. Time for her to see what this special assignment was all about.

SecurityJust before Angelina pressed the chime, the door to the CIO’s office slid open, and D’vash, unaware of anyone being outside almost ran into the tall Orion woman. He looked up into her hazel eyes and smiled. “Pardon me, Lt. As you’re standing just outside my office, I assume you’re wanting to speak with me?”
He had been going files, searching for possible members of the new CRIT team. Having gone through the security team, he recognized Markeson as one possibility simply based on her file. Still, he wanted her to make the introduction from her and see if she was interested in the position.
“What can I do for you?”

Startled but reflexive, Angelina used her hand, almost poised to press the chime, to shove herself a step away and keep from colliding with the man who appeared in the doorway. Smiling, she nodded. “Actually I ‘was’ coming to see you, Sir. Lieutenant JG Markeson. Angelina. The Security Chief said I was to report to you and tell you I was,” she smiled, “and I quote recommended for the new program. So here I am.” She was once more relaxed and waited to see if this had been bad timing.

D’vash rose an eyebrow in mock surprise. “Recommended, huh? “Well, I do take Mr. Mardusk’s recommendations quite seriously. I’m on my way to the lounge to grab a bite. Care to walk and talk?”
The CIO clasped his hands behind his back and began strolling down the corridor. “Having a background in security is a plus for a spot on this team, Lt. With that, I’m sure your marksmanship ratings are adequate, as well as your hand-to-hand skills and small unit tactics. Tell me, Lt. what else do you bring to the table?”
