Her heart raced, watching with horror as the patient she’d never seen before stood screaming, the light flashing like a weird SOS of the blade of knife in his hand. The screaming, everyone was screaming for Walker to stop. Where was security? She looked around, but they were gone, why was everyone gone? She moved, pushing her way through the crowd, sending those able for help. And then she was in front of him. He was gone, somewhere else. His body was there, but she was not Revna anymore. She needed to take the knife, but didn’t know how, he was screaming at her, obscenities and cures. And then the light flashed off the blade again. She tried to scream but there was no air…

She didn’t wake with a start, her body didn’t have the ability to do so. There wasn’t enough oxygen in her system for anything to move quickly. The room seemed dark, her heart racing, but lungs unable to keep pace. But she slept with the lights on now. Too many times she woke with not enough air her vision going fuzzy, so now the lights were on. Reason came along with mild panic. She reached for the box with the hypo in it. She almost dropped it from numb fingers, fighting for what seemed like minutes until the box opened. She fumbled the hypo out of the box, unsure of what dosage it was set too and unable to make her fingers work to check it. She pressed the nodule against her neck and hit the button, hearing the faint hiss.

What seemed like minutes passed and nothing improved. She reached for the comm button on her bedside table, but only found her combadge. She pulled it towards her and out of habit it clipped to her clothes. The built in bio scanners reading her life signs for the emergency they were and alerting sickbay. She tapped the badge, =^=Edman to sickbay…” her voice very low and it sounded more like a bad connection, “med.....cal....e..mer…gen=^=

Danica was sitting in medical reading over her text books for both advancement in her field and in rank when the low comm came thru. She frowned, but muscle memory had her reaching for the comm as her fingers danced on the console to locate the voice, though the name was familiar to her. =^=This is Medical. I’m coming to you now.=^=

She stood up fast enough that the PaDD with her texts on it slid from the table to thud on the carpet as she grabbed the nearest medkit and slammed the comm on her chest. =^=Transporter Room 1, emergency transport to Lieutenant Edman’s quarters!=^=

A moment later, she appeared in Revna’s living area. Seeing the light in the bedroom on, she swiftly went in and saw the woman in distress. “Revna!” She felt the panic rise but her experience kicked in. It only took a moment to get an oxygen mask on the Councilor. It was then she took in the rest of her and started vitals. “Councilor…. can you hear me? It’s Danica… I’m right here. You’re gonna be ok.” She was kneeling by the woman now, compassion and a soft smile on her face.
