The Art of Psycho-therapy...Sickbay after meeting with Rogan (Dr. Celia Decker's point of view) ....When the past doesn't match the present... or the future

==================================================================
Across sickbay and occurring at the same time Rinker, Jessa, and Ian are talking
==================================================================

“You probably don’t want to hear this, but it looks like what they inject you with are nanites that do heal you, but have a limited time of effect. That’s why they have to keep refreshing it every three months. You are probably close to the end of the three months that’s why its not working as effectively as previously.” He smiled. “I don’t imagine you think God requires a refresher every 3 months to keep being God, do you?”

Rinker

Moving into a corner, Celia tapped her comm badge. =/\=Rian we may have a problem=/\=. It did not take for a voice to come back over the encoded channel between her and the woman from intelligence. This was not her first assignment in intelligence and Celia Decker had mastered the art of blending in like she had always been there but also staying away from the crew and any sort of attachments.

=/\=And that is=/\= Aimee Rian’s tone was firm, controlled, and full of authority.

=/\=Rinker is in sickbay. Apparently, there was an accident in the brig. He brought the person up here to treat. The target came out of her room and engaged him.=/\= Celia reported back watching the scene continue to play out and escalate.

=/\=What is the topic of conversation?=/\= Aimee Rian did not mince words or go on tangents. She processed facts. While there was no way to officially stop the girl from seeing Rinker there was the option of convincing Jessa not to see Rinker. The chief psychiatrist was brilliant. It would not take him too long, given enough exposure to Jessa, to figure out the big picture given enough pieces.

=/\=Mainly all the blather about wanting to see her people however a new development has come to light. Apparently, they have nanite technology that can heal them on a cellular level. I am not sure why we did not detect them with all the medical scans but the second I get her alone I will draw another sample and sent the results to command.=/\= Celia idly tapped at a PaDD pretending to fill out forms as she positioned herself to see what was happening in the reflection in the glass of the CMO’s office. Luckily no one was observing the request to speak in quiet tones so hearing what was occurring was not an issue.

Relaying the message as she was getting it, Aimee Rian began reporting to her superiors while simultaneously responding to Decker.

“You don’t know anything. She said I don’t have to talk to you. She said I don’t have to talk to anyone. Get out,” she pointed to the door as if she could command Rinker to be dismissed from her presence. “Get out and don’t ever come back.”

Celia clenched her jaw as the conversation began to drift into a direction that could be problematic. Shut up you stupid little brat, Celia murmured to herself hearing Jessa throw up in Rinker’s face Aimee’s suggestion that she no longer see the head shrink.

Does he? Rinker’s face squinched up. “I didn’t award him that power. So you might have to talk to the person who did.” He did nod, “I do have more circles than he so technically I can give him orders if someone who doesn’t outrank me say something different.”

=/\=Okay I am going to need orders,=/\= Celia moved to a cabinet sliding a hypo into her pocket as the conversation between Jessa, Rinker, and Ian became more aggressive. =/\=The target slipped and has relayed to Rinker the plan for her to end sessions with him. Do I engage?=/\= It was paramount that Jessa be removed from talking to Heathcliff Rinker as soon as possible. No one liked being told they were being fired. When he found out he was being replaced by Della Marx, an officer with a quarter of his skill and a tenth of his experience, things might turn more complicated. No one had predicted the kid would actually start to connect with the man before plans were set up for Jessa’s extraction. Now the little brat was going to force the issue of Rinker being replaced all because she was not getting her way and throwing a temper tantrum.

=/\=Yes =/\= Aimee said with a tone of simmering anger. =/\=Engage. Remove her from the situation and await further orders.=/\= Clicking off her badge, Aimee muttered a series of curses before moving across the room and opening the door to the small office that was included in the floor plan of the ambassadorial suites.

“Sir,” Aimee said to the man behind the desk, “we may need to escalate the timetable.”
