Oliver standing on the deck of the Kingston which was a small Jamaican vessel, and the ship Calico Jack the pirate he was mimicking had made his flagship. Having done his research and dressed appropriately Olly was wearing a canvas doublet and breeches, knitted caps called Monmouth caps, cotton waistcoats and drawers, stockings, linen shirts and shoes. Much of this clothing was adopted by the seamen of this era and made him look the part. His partner in crime today was the ships, new chief counselor who he had also done his research on, it was amazing what someone could find out through the ships manifest.The Kingston was currently in the port of Nassau a pirate stronghold and awaited Lieutenant Revna Edman, she was by far the most interesting person he had met apart from perhaps Kelly the ship’s captain but she didn’t count since he had known her for along as his Starfleet career had been. Olly faced astern his hand behind his back, his large black hat casting a large amount of shade over his face making his stubble even darker. Behind him, the deckhands were scrubbing away, and those not on cleaning duty or drunk were brining the last stores onboard and into the hold.

Revna was looking forward to the holodeck program. Her only problem was that the costume had shoes and she never wore shoes when she was on deck. She shrugged and laughed at some of the looks she got from crewmen as she headed for the holodeck. She’s wearing a blue check work shirt topped off with a rather fancier black silk cravat. A black velvet coat that is a bit too big for her. Her pants are rough brown trousers, stuffed into tall black boots. On her head she wears a leather tricorn spruced up with feathers and a silver button. A calico sash, a belt, and a baldric complete the picture. She also carries a replicated cutlass.
Revna steps into the program. The smell of the sea assails her and brings back fond memories. The port is busy and very different than the ones she’s used to. She sees Oliver on the deck, looking more like part of the program, blending in so well with the theme. Her stride carries her up the gang plank and once to the deck she grabs some rigging and swings herself across to the other side to land beside him. And regrets that. She was certainly not healed enough for that. She winces only slightly though. “It’s a good day to sink the British, Calico.”
Revna Edman“Ah Anne” He said with a cheeky grin across his face, “I was beginning to think after last night drinking you weren’t going to make it in time before we departed I am glad you finally turned up!” He laughed turning his head to the quarter-deck his projecting his voice shouted “Put your sea legs on boys, bring in the plank, hoist the sails and prepare to depart were going fishing!” Turning to Anne, “After you” He sad indicating to the large wheel at the quarter-deck. Around the crewman were running about putting away the mops and buckets as they began to raise the foresails to depart the harbor at maneuvering speeds.

Revna laughed softly, “I drink you under the table any day, Calico and we all know it.” She raised her voice, “Isn’t that right, boys?” And a choras of agreement followed her to the quarter-deck. Revna’s eyes lit up and she grabbed the wheel. She shouted orders for oars and began the cadence. The oars moving smoothly to her orders sending them out of the port and into the sea. Soon she called the oars in and the sails down. She turned and grinned at him, “Where do you think the fish are biting today? We have coffers to fill.”
