Oliver had been busy at work in the arboretum, after having spoken to Miss Edman and talked briefly about setting up some botany lessons for the children he had decided to pick his favorite plants and potted them to take to the classroom. The five plants he had chosen were, a Cattleya Orchid which was a beautiful pink and white, a Vulcan rock Fuscia which was Purple and Orange, Schlumbergera truncate which was a part of the Cacti family and boasted pink flowers, as well English Lavander and then finally a Tiger lily or Lilium lancifolium which reminded him of Sharah their first encounter and was orange with black spots. Holding all the plants in a large box with a few tools and a larger planting pot he walked up to the classroom door.

The door opened as Oliver walked up. Revna was inside just finishing cleaning up and was singing a rather haunting ballad about a woman who escapes a tower to try and find Camelot. Her voice carries softly and is rich giving the notes a life of their own. She’s putting the last few toys and books away. She turns towards the door, “OH! Ens. Loughty. I didn’t hear you come in.” Revna is a little embarrassed, but doesn’t seem to care. “What do you have there?”

Olly hadn’t introduced himself when he walked in because he was to busy admiring her voice, she really did sound beautiful even when dining a chilling Ballard as she was. “I’m sorry, I thought I would bring down some plants for the classroom so the children could learn to look after them and have a little project.” He lifted the box slightly “And please call me Oliver, I know you liked the idea of a Kareoke but you didn’t tell me how good you sounded, you’re going to put me and my ukelele to shame!” Dressed in his lab coat and science teams he crossed the remainder of the room to her.

Revna laughed, “Thank you, Oliver.” She seemed to blush just a bit, ” but, I never said I would be singing karaoke. And you have perfect timing. What do you think?” She pointed over to the mini arboretum that had been installed to connect the two classrooms. “Would you want to come help the kids plan and plant it?” Revna had always loved to sing. She peeked into the box. “Oh those are lovely.”

Trying to recall the memory, he supposed she never did say she would sing but he had assumed she would, she definitely should sing he thought her blush only making her blonde hair stand out more. “Is my name Oliver Loughty, of course, I’d love too help out.” He lowered the box so she could get a better view “These are some of my personal favorites except one, I gave that to a really good friend of mine year ago.” He recalled again the memory of Sharah how had his Bonzai Tree and had called it to hope, certainly a touching name. “We can store these overnight and I potted them so they would last some time out of their normal sol depths.” He began to move to the mini arboretum impressed by the facility, “This is some good engineering here.”

Revna nodded, “The engineering teams have been wonderful coming in to help us fix the school rooms. Children thrive and learn so much in nature. So since we don’t have any planet side to go to, I thought I would bring some to them.” She picked up the potted Cattleya Orchid. “This is gorgeous. The colors are so unique. The children will love it, but maybe not as much as me,” She said placing it carefully on a shelf on the only table in the area.

This time it was Oliver’s turn to feel a slight pang of embracement having picked out a plant she clearly liked, swallowing it down he said “Well, If you like it I can have another potted by the end of the week and sent to your quarters. They’re rather abundant in our arboretum since they like the environment we have made for them it wouldn’t be a problem at all.” He looked to her hopeful, though he hoped he didn’t look too hopeful and Rosey checked. He wasn’t good with situations like this, that’s why he never put himself in them.

“That would be lovely, thank you Oliver.” She picked up another of the pots and placed it on the table. “These are beautiful, and each is so unique. The children will love them.” She looked around, “Unfortunately we don’t have anything other than the empty beds yet. I still have to request the soil and probably hundreds of things I never though about.”
