“Give your fellow crewmates a chance to get to know you, focus on your work and the rest will grow organically from that,” Freja replied, “If you have questions, your department head is the perfect person to go to. You could perhaps start an informal gathering of sorts, some crew bond over mutual hobbies.”

“Captain. How do I do informal gathering of some sorts. I don’t really know anyone on board. Should I like try doing it in the mess hall it something?” As the ensign asked about it. He was very confused indeed but then noticed that the captain is trying to help him out.

“Perhaps try just talking to your fellow crewmembers while working together, start small for now,” Freja smiled, “Just ask them about themselves, people love talking about themselves for the most part. Ask them how long they’ve been on the ship and see where the conversation takes you.”
