Ella took the drink in her dainty hands and sipped at the contents, the bitter sweetness of the drink just right as it always was. “I am grateful for the drink.” She said in a rather Elasian manner, it was something she found herself fall into when she was in the company of another woman, it was just a natural instinct that she couldn’t shake. Another strong woman usually meant war on her world.

“The transporter,” she said matter of factly, stopping for a second to take a sip of her water. “Zero residue, and no left over body once you are done. And if you get the transporter into a test cycle, and it can complete it, it will purge all of the data the buffer as well at the completion of the test.

“As an alternative, the plasma stream. It takes a bit longer, but given enough time it sill full destroy the body. Not as clean, and there are more safeguards to override,” Alison said with a shrug.

“The torpedo tube is just overly dramatic.”

“Again remind me never to get on the wrong side of you, it seems great care and detail has been put into it should I be looking for a missing crewman?” She teased, “Personally I like the flare for dramatics I would like to toy with the investigators throw in misleading information some real but always stay one step ahead.” Ella couldn’t help but chuckle, “Look at us two serial killers in the making! We should do a Sherlock and holmes holonovel” She suggested almost getting the reference right to the human detective.

Koria laughed. “Well I wouldn’t look that hard, ever wonder why that position opened up here?” she said with a wink.

Ella mocked shock knowing, well maybe also a little bit of hoping Koria was joking.

“Sherlock, that name sounds familiar, but I can’t place it. Is he some sort of famous criminal?” She was always up for a bit of adventure, especially on the holodeck. There was enough stress at times in engineering that it would definitely be a good excuse to unwind.

She chuckled, “Well almost he was a famous Earth detective and was the creation of the British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He has loads of books, tv and films after him so there’s loads of content and lore if you ever feel like getting away from the shackles of engineering. I could do with a friend it isn’t quiet the same playing by yourself.” Ella had made a good impression so far with most of the crew she met but there was no one she would yet consider a friend.

Koria took another sip of her water, “Hmmm, I’ll have to take a look into him at some point. Unfortunately I only was able to spend a little bit of time while I was at the Academy looking into old Earth lore.

Ella thought that was understandable, the Academy was full-on and it wasn’t at all like what people made it out to be there were fewer dorm parties more study groups than she cared for but she got by and she did enjoy those short times they did have to relax.

“But it does sound fascinating, and I will have to take you up on that offer at some point. How did you get acquainted with his works?”

Lt Sutret - CE

“Oh well it was actually a part of our course studying the works of sherlock holmes often our instructor used those books and cases as study lessons and home works, like find out who killed who and what Sherlock was doing right and wrong that kind of thing after the and during even the Academy it becomes more of a hobby than actually learning though we did learn a lot from the style of teaching,” Ella explained clearly reminiscing in memory.
