Jon had a lot to do now that he was rested from boarding the day before and spending some time at night with a few Marines he stumbled upon while looking for the kitchen. Sure he had a replicator in his quarters but he wanted to get to know the ship and see how 3rd shift or 2nd shift worked at night.

But now he was in full uniform and entering Sickbay. It was very clean and well maintained and even more to the point, it was very efficient and he liked that. Realizing he had been walking while looking around he stopped right at the reception area. “Hello. I’m Colonel Vamuhn. I’m here for my boarding physical. Do you have an opening or should I come back later?”

Lt. Colonel Muhjon Vamuhn, Marine Battalion Commander

The medic on the reception area looked around “sure thing sir..if you wouldn’t mind going to biobed number…” he stopped and with a grin pointed to a biobed where a prone form of an older man in black jeans and a tshirt lay apparently asleep. “…biobed number three sir. Tell Doctor Ryley I sent you over when you get there. If he doesn’t wake up give him a prod.”

Jon smirked and looked over. “You got it.” He then walked over to the biobed and whispered very, very quietly, “Wakey, Wakey. Eggs and Bacy.” Then he smiled and grabbed the mattress and with all of his might he flipped it in the air hoping to throw the CMO in the air.

A ringing whack sound echoed across the bay as without opening his eyes or moving the prone CMO brought a black metal cane whirling around from one side of the bed to the side Jon was trying to tip. He said in a gruff tone, “I wouldn’t if I were you. Not unless you fancy a very in-depth exam and the inability to sit for a week or so.”

After a moment he sat up and looked at the Lt Colonel. “ want something?” He asked.
