After a rather brisk encounter with Ensign Harper in Sickbay, Lunan decided that he should probably check in with the Chimera‘s counsellor. The Bajoran man had endured many a meeting with the Federation’s counselling staff since the days of the Occupation, and as much as he knew they were only trying to help, he did not like recalling his days on Tyrek Nor, the Cardassian Ore Processing Facility he and his father were made to work on.
After several seconds of contemplation, Lunan straightened his uniform jacket and stepped over the threshold into the Counsellor’s Office.
“Good morning Counsellor,” he said briskly.

Ora’s blue eyes darted up from her computer screen to meet Lunan’s gaze, “Oh, you must be Lieutenant Farrah, our new Chief Science Officer. I am Lieutenant Ora, the Chimera’s Counselor, it is a pleasure to meet you. Welcome aboard the Chimera, we are happy to have you here with us. Are you settling in nicely?” She tilted her head just slightly with a look of curiosity evident on her face. She was definitely interested in his well-being and the tone of her voice indicated that she truly did care.

She stood up from her desk and gestured with her left hand to the seat across from her, “Please make yourself comfortable and have a seat.” She walked over to the replicator and pivoted off of her back right heel to face him, “Can I get you something to eat or drink? I don’t know about you, but I was running late this morning and could use a nice breakfast. Do you have any recommendations for a delicious Bajoran breakfast?” A smile came across her lips as she wanted to make him feel at home and comfortable on the Chimera.

  • Lieutenant Ora, CNS

“A Raktajino will do me just fine Counsellor, I’m afraid I cannot remain long, I have important work to conduct.” Lunan sat upright, with his arms crossed across his chest, a slight air of impatience hanging over him.
