Owen Ducante made his way to sickbay. He took in the corridors of the ship as he walked, and greeted the officers he passed by. He was excited to start his new adventure, and meet his new crewmates more formally, but first he needed to get his onboarding done. He decided to get the most usually dreaded done first, his physical. He had served in security his whole Starfleet tenure, and was security for the cargo ship he grew up on before he joined Starfleet. He walked in the doors of sickbay and waited for the medical personnel, busy working.

A Caitian nurse shuffled by, craning his neck mid-way to glance at the Lieutenant. Curiously, he tucked his PaDD under his arm and turned on his foot to approach him. “Hi there,” he took a once-over in search of injury, “how can I help you, sir?” Given the Lieutenant’s apparent health and patient demeanour, the nurse didn’t think he required emergency attention. But, for all he knew, this man was in critical condition. So, it was best to ask.
