While in route to her starbase, the USS Chimera sailed along the inky black sea of space, the crew would be going about their daily lives. Medical was patching up daily ouchies. Engineering was tinkering, Science was scanning, and Security was drilling alongside the Marines and the Pilots. However, the peace and quiet of the day were interrupted as a call from command soon came in for the captain. NE Chamberlain a mousy human woman at the Operations console turned to the captain “Ma’am There is a priority Message for you from Command of Pioneer Fleet” she reported looking over her shoulder at the captain

“I’ll take it in my ready room,” Freja nodded, rising from her seat and striding purposefully toward her ready room.

Stepping into her private refuge from the bridge, Freja walked to her desk and tapped the blinking message light to see what Command had to say.
