The packet command had sent to the Chimera was uploaded to all of the department head consoles so they could take deeper dives and prepare for the mission ahead if the CSO had any questions now was the time to see if there were answers availableGMT Phoenix

Lunan tapped a control on his display and called out, “Computer, display any of the data available on scientific advancements made by the people of the planet thus far.” The Bajoran was eager to see if the people were on his level as scientists.

The Mar’zek history is unknown at this time However it is known that sometime between twenty to twenty-five standard years ago the Mar’Zek entered into what is known as the Industrial Revolution period 2 years ago a Starfleet scout ship stopped into the system to make some minor repairs and caught Radio transmissions from the planet upon further scans evidence was found that the Mar’zek had tech one hundred years advanced such as early automobiles, Radar, Radio, most of their technology is currently powered by steam expansion engines
Their aircraft currently take the form of massive rigid Airships using Hydrogen as the lifting gas as well as steam expansion engines for the propulsion However early Gasoline-powered biplanes are being used
the other form of main transport are massive steamships both of these forms of transport provide the main homes of most of the population due to very little landmass for the Mar’Zek live on however smaller early gas-powered boats are also used in shallow waters

“There is currently no evidence that the Mar’Zek have made contact with any species from the greater Galactic community” the computer replied

So this really is first contact, Lunan thought, then making his decision, he added aloud, “Scour the data for common male fashion and replicate a copy of an outfit.” Spinning on his heel in the direction of office replicator, he was greeted by the sight of an emerald green shirt with what looked like a stitched blue waist covering resting neatly on top. Smiling to himself, Lunan jogged off to get changed before heading to the Transporter Room.

As he came out of the bathroom in his new Mar’Zek robe, Lunan remembered seeing another image on his screen. He noted some of the facial markings in the data packet. Frustrated with himself, he tapped his combadge, “=^= Lunan to Sickbay, are you able to fit me in for a prosthetic adjustment before I beam down? =^=”
