The Fitzgerald transmitted the teams base location which was also the location the supplies were needed it was a medium-sized building in the middle of a small port town it was round and only one level dug into the side of a hill it was actually at the top of a hill even going fairly but not quite straight into it though one room seemed to be hidden this would probably be the one they could beam into safely as the building seemed to be part Public Store

“Captain The Fitzgerald is still waiting for us to beam the cargo off their ship Shall i begin beaming?” The Operations officer requested simply from her station she had given the requested scan on the supplies and was ready to beam the supplies into the Chimera’s cargohold

OOC: Actually, I’m happy to announce that we just snagged a graduate from the Academy for CMO, so Stephen can jump right into the action if he’d like or send an NE. :)

“Aye Ma’am” she said and with in moments the Supplies for the Science team once they had been found were beamed into the cargo bay of the USS Chimera the moment her bays were clear of the cargo the Fitzgerald set a course out of the system warping as soon as they were clear their course was set back to the sol system where no doubt she would go into Drydock

IC: Braxton looking at his screen on his chair for any abnormalities with the mission. “Captain, we should keep the comms open until they’re back home.”

“Excuse me Commander?” Koria said speaking up as she turned to face Harris. “I would not recommend that. We are dealing with a pre-warp civilization, we can not risk a communicator emitting noise when the away team is in a potentially critical situation. That and no one informed me that there was a desire to keep an open comm link with the away team. I could put together a subdermal communicator, but it will take a little bit to replicate all the necessary parts.”

OOC so the team would have access to earpieces that would allow them access to comms without the risk of alerting the Natives as to the commbadges

“How long would you need to put together subdermal comms Lieutenant?” Freja asked her CE. Delaying the away mission could be risky, but it could potentially be safer if their people had ways to communicate with the ship if they got into hot water…whilst still protecting the prime directive.

“An hour or two probably Captain. A lot of the work is in customizing each unit to the individual,” Koria trailed off as she thought through some of the design process, and what was needed.

OOC: So sorry for the AWOL folks! Back and raring to go now!

Lunan piped up, “Lieutenant, I’m happy to help you with programming those comms, I feel we need to get going as soon as we can.”

Shaking her head slightly, Koria looked over a Lunan. “Uh sure, I could use the help. Captain,” she said with a brief nod before heading for the turbolift.

OOC: No problem. Sorry for my own minor AWOL, work had me a bit buried. If you want to RP creating the comms go ahead or I’d say you can skip ahead and presume you have the subdermal comms installed and start the transport room thread. :)
